I like the long format. It’s continuous and unedited. I feel like I’m there with you. Pretty cool. You know so much about the history too

We also ventured into East Germany Just weeks after the wall fell. We visited Colditz castle, it was still a mental hospital but we were shown round by a guy we met as we walked up to the castle, We visited Buchenwald concentration camp, and ended up in Kladow, Berlin, on a camp site and walked around some of the sites close by. My son and I climbed up into one of the East german wall observation towers, that looked into the west. We went into a wooded area, the trees were all rotten, my sone kicked one over, something flew up its a Luftwaffe Spoon, I still have it, he also climbed up one of the electric fence poles and broke off a Fuse holder which we still have. In the woods we could see evidence of trenches and fox holes. We also walked across from the Brandenburg gate across the dead no mans land to the location of the Riech Chancellery and bunker, then a big sandy heap, someone had stuck a handprinted sign on a pole, into the ground that said in German site of Hitlers bunker. It was a amazing time. @@WandererBell

A good video. A reason the big doors are ceiled is because the hall inside has swastika’s on the ceiling. They are in gold. One of the original tribune cauldrons is in there too. Would love to look inside too.

Thank you. I think they are planning to make it a museum/park in the near future.
