Really surprised you didn't mention the lack of depth in buildcrafting. One of the biggest things in a pve game is allowing players to pair items that synergize well, and to min max builds that excel at a certain thing. I think to do this they need to add certain stats like fire, ice, poison etc. That players can create a build around. Right now it feels like every build simply just does damage or heals, and no items boost the effectiveness of other items.
broo ur so right synergies between equipment is what makes the combat and strategy aspects in games so fun, like for example many games use different elements or properties that can react with each other for example to provide a benefit. I think that they will add some more strategy later but rn its not their main focus but I am surprised he didnt mention it
Honestly for me the best part of the game was the solo trials. To finish the solo triaks you are forced to used different loadouts and weapons. When i first got the techno fist i never thought that i would use it but it made one of the solo trials significantly easier for me. I hope the game expands more on rhe solo trials because they are 100% fun.

Easy fix for more extreme raids and maybe even a good way to unlock legendary supplies… Make a hardcore raid where if any of your team dies than the raid is over! I feel like that could be very benifical for the game and really separate the hardcore players from the casuals and give you a sense of accomplishment when you and your teammates unlock this new top notch gear
I have played moco and I agree with what you said. Something to add to it maybe is the lack of map exploration and in map secrets. Yes the art of each lvl was great and an ok size but for me I would like more interaction within the map like houses you can enter or maybe you can break this pot ( not specifically just breaking pots but just more object interaction)and more secrets. I know there were chests to collect but I would like something more like a hidden lvl within lvl type stuff.
I got lucky to play the beta outside of the US, and it was only for 2 days. I got to level 10 and it was a blast. Very grindy, and they could easily grow from the foundation theyve built for now. I just wish the cosmetics were better :')
I just found myself having a hard time getting into this game. During the beta. I thought there was very little room for skill expression and everything just felt like a stat check. And what I wasn't doing raids for the giant stat check. Then I was just running around the same map killing the same monsters endlessly grinding to upgrade my gear.
As a casual player of the moco beta. I started out going just for a specific class and the game got kind of frustrating looking for specific monsters. But as I unlocked new wepons and gadgets I started to build multiple builds and the game instantly became much more fun because I was just farming everything and didnt have to run around hunting down one or two monsters.
For me, how much I love a game is based on how heavily it affects my personal life and other things and for some reason for the 6 days that I played the game nearly everything else got put on hold so I can play it whenever because I loved it so much.
What I feel like what MoCo needs is genuine characters. While it is cool to have a character creator, in most games it feels too bland. If there were characters to choose from and you customize their weapons and playstyles I feel like it would be a lot more incentivizing to keep playing. At least for me, I grind in most games cause I see a cool character that I want to play as.
I played it casually and it was so fun! It was definitely a grind to upgrade the weapons, but it was usually still enjoyable because you could fight the monsters with other people in the same area as you.
i agree with you, i went into this with closed mind thinking it could just be another one of those cashgrab mobile games. i was soooooooooooooo wrong, i can see where the MTX will come in but, i seriously don't think i would mind and i had SO MUCH FUN playing up to lv25 especially when i was running raids with random players to either 1. help them get their first normal clear Or 2. trying out a new build (healer, tank, dps) to see if they would be more viable in carrying or speed. I'm so excited to see where this game goes and when it comes out, im going to binge the hell out of it.
I really enjoyed moco, and had the same experience as you, where I played for many hours on the first day. Being in college though, I couldn't justify playing much, knowing that my progress would be erased. The things I wanted to see more of were diversity and strategic ramping of bosses, more power scaling on your character from level to level, and more power scaling on the gear you can get. Progression was unsatisfying for me, especially since you could just keep using common pieces of gear all the way through the late game. There should be rare gear drops on harder bosses that are more niche and also just do more damage. I also want the options to aim myself--autoaim on everything isn't satisfying after a while.
10:40 what if they made a passive tracker gear that allows you to know where a specific monster is on the map? Could be a cool concept because it is useful however means you cannot use a different passive gear you normally would.
I loved how seemlessly I could join into farming with other people and people join into me farming, people were just able to find me on the map and farm with me, I do wish I was able to add friends easily, also raids were way too difficult, even when I was overleveled, its just other players were underleveled, and I just had to rely on matchmaking to get find randoms
After playing the beta for roughly 40 hours, I feel these are some changes they can make One thing I feel they could have done is add randomised stats to certain gear when you make them. That way people will grind the same map for better stats on their gear. Also hopefully they will add a marketplace (many mmos have this) so that people are able to sell/buy excess materials or gear. This will make it sort of feel less grindy for the people who don't play as much.
@@BLET_55artem55 that's why a marketplace/player trading would be good. That way if you are unlucky, you have an option to buy gear from other players who get lucky and are willing to sell their gear
One thing I think they should change is how much XP monsters drop. It takes a lot to level up because enemies only drop like 5 XP. But quests did help with leveling up.
Had an absolute blast playing this through the beta. I no lifed it to the max to get to top level as fast as I could and honestly if it wasnt for knowing progression would be deleted I would have kept going
I have some ideas to diversify the builds and encourage ppl to max multiple builds. First off weapons should have an element for it example techno fist: lightning, very longbow: poison, wolf stick: summon etc. And every enemy have a certain element so weapons would do a little more damage to almost double damage or little decrease in damage to almost half ur damage depending on the element match ups. Also on top of that gadgets and passive gadgets should buff a certain element of weapons or even a specific weapon to diversify the builds. Like for example u just unlocked the very longbow and u want to make a build out of it and u see sticky sock’s radius doubles when using a poison element weapon so u use that instead. This might prevent ppl just changing weapons and having the same best gadgets since some weaker gadgets would actually be better than the best with certain builds.
Mo Co will be one of the best mobile games. I couldn't let go of my phone while playing. I'm super excited for Mo Co to go global cause after I played the beta I couldn't find any other game to fill the void the way Mo Co did. Tldr...Play This Game (once it goes global)
PvP in this game would probably be the best thing on the current mobile gaming market. They could make a 5v5 MOBA out of this, 3v3 Brawl Stars gamemodes could be implemented, sweaty 1v1's, a map builder could be included, a guild system, too, a gacha system would be possible if they ever happen to lack some cash. There are so many possibilities that would make this game something for any type of gamer
12:05 It would be really cool if you had to complete certain raids to get some weapon parts then gather some special recources exclusive to the weapon in order for you to print a weapon. For example you get a quest from Luna that gives you the blueprint, then you complete a raid to get a weapon part, kill some monsters and world bosses related to the recources and then you got yourself a weapon/gear. But it should be challenging, like in some mmorpg i used to play there was this "ornate duel" that granted you epic stuff and you could beat the boss with all types of builds but it was still incredibly difficult
Nono, getting a thing at a low and then going to upgrade it to have it be powerful and actually useful is literally what you have in CR with card levels, and that's why the progression there isn't too fun (for me at least) because I believe it'd be WAAY better if it was hard as nuts to get a card, even commons, but just have them be as all cards are, maybe have every card have 3 little upgrades, like 3 choices, speed buff, hp buff, damage buff? And other things for different cards, but getting a new card is not exiting, and is easy, and then you have it, sure, but you don't really get to USE it, so it's like "I got it, why can't I utilize as well as all else??" In Brawl Stars also, I think it's basocally redundant to have the first few levels, just bring up the pricing and jump straight to gadgets, then gears, etc. (Of course, levels allow for p2w, so yeah, I know, but still, I prefer it'd be HARD to get new things gameplay wise and then be able to utilize them all I want, not get it easily and then not be able to use it until upgraded (of course in Brawl Stars, since you have 2 Gadgets, 2 Star Powers, etc. first you upgrade THEN get the ability but ye (for example HYPERCHARGE I'd prefer be just a whole upgrade, like 7 500 Coins + whatever power points and you get Hypecharged or smth, kind of like elite levels, but something actually happening, basically as if level 15 in CR was no buff to the card itself, and WASN'T level 15 under a nickname, but gave you this new mechanic, that I'd like a lot more, since right now, there's no real good way to get shards, and won't be for a while)) Thanks for coming to my Drowned Talk
I played beta and I think I was like level 25. It was very fun but I did agree with everything said and hope they input it into the game. Hope it goes global soon!
It just seems like another Minecraft Dungeons, Just global, and with less weapons and content. Unless they add a unique feature to REALLY differentiate it, I may not get too invested in it.
I think the idea that you can get guaranteed access to all the gear is a good thing. Only people who can play for hours a day want the gated gear, and if we're honest its usually because they like the idea of being able to show off how hardcore they are, without having to admit how much they play. There's a place for casuals this way. You can aim specifically for what you want.
I loved playing, I played for hours and hours when it first came out. But after while I switched to just a little each day. What dismayed me was the having to grind so much for certain materials. Sometimes took me hours to upgrade 1 or 2 items. Maybe that's just me being bad or not liking the grind to much. Overrall rated 8/10.
The 2x loot events were super funny, I could imagine a boss standing in the map seeing a cloud of death approaching without being able to do anything about it.
My own criticism is mainly that they need to make the raids and solo trials especially less dps checky. You can make the game as hard and damaging as you please as long as it's feasibly winnable, but it is SO annoying and frustrating to do priority targets or One on One and losing because it's more dps check than skill check. HOWEVER, more annoying than that was seeing people roaming around with weapons they couldn't feasibly have attained fairly, like the level 13's and 10's with the longbows, they can't even enter the trials yet.
My first thought for replayability was to add a random substat system to weapons similar to destiny 2. That way you might get the cool new weapon but u have to keep grinding if you want the God roll that synergizes the best.
As lvl29 monster hunter I agree with everything you said except the weapon rarities i don t want to play one raid for hours to get nothing, overall really good reviev
i loved everything but as someone who plays solo, matchmaking for raids barely worked the entire time. very rarely would I get other players and would usually end up with bots. made progressing past a certain point feel impossible.
I didn't have enough time to unlock the PvP section. They should have this available much sooner and the want for upgrading and finding weapons would increase. Reserving PvP for maxed out players seems kindof excluding. Perhaps they havent worked out matchmaking to that degree of matching like-leveled players like brawl stars attempts to do.
I suggest that they make it so specific levels give you a special piece(s) that will be gained from a quest or after a mission that can be crafted into a weapon
Grinded the game non stop... it was extremely addicting and if they only do good things with it from here on, definitely going to grind the game non stop when it comes out again
Honestly so excited for this game's future, think it will be like with Brawlstars, so hyped for first few years and than it will be soo hard to progress like last coins nerf for BrawlStars...
I started grinding 2 ish hours a day then slowly slowed down and progression seemed pointless. Upgrading weapons is definitely the scariest thing for f2p players
Game looks fun. I don’t think I’d play a game in beta if all my progress was going to be erased. I could just imagine if this would’ve happened in Brawl Stars 😅As far as PC is concerned, it’s really frustrating that they will put Clash of Clans on PC and not have it available for Macs when they basically only have to turn a switch to allow it for download on Macs.
I think it would be good that if you want to upgrade your weapon to level 6 (for example) you have to complete the raid 7times in normal dif. 3times in hard dif. and 1time in nightmare Then you're able to put your loot in and upgrade the weapon from level 5 to 6
This is the first mobile game in a long time where I keep constantly checking to see if any updates on it have come out. It looked good on my S23 Ultra, but I'm looking forward to playing this on the Fold 6 at the end of the year.
Having played Albion online and seeing PvP in this and how unfair it is when you have computer and mobile going cross platform is a bad idea. Maybe it would work for this game though
Very excited for the game, but they do need to fix some things. It really is too easy. Of course there are other things to fix, but the good things about the game really overcome the bad. Thanks for covering this Kairos!
The best waty to get items in my oppinion is at the end of the Raid when You killed everything you`ll get a random from 10 that are specifically for that zone.4 commons, 2 rares 2epics 2 legendaries ETC. it makes you get what`s the rarest and even if you did get the rarest let`s say the rares is a weapon and your spells are still bad.The spells are Epic so instead of goin for legendary items you`ll want that specific epic spell.
I definitely agree this game is great but it was definitely much better for you because you can get tons of people to "deathball" with immediately being a popular YT'er and streamer. For the average player it is a few notches less exciting but overall I'm super excited for the game.
If I had to guess, the devs might have made progression easier in the beta so players could experience more of the game at once. Being able to get max level from just a few days of hardcore grinding seems very unlike supercell
As a casual player, I did not like, by any chance misions, i dont't like having misions to progress and being aware of when they come out, instead of just playing the game. Also I did not like auto attacks, would like it to be similar to Brawl stars
not sure how valid this is, but i feel the game seems slow since the damage:health ratio is ridiculously low. like you dont see a massive damage hit thats super satisfying to see the way you might see it in other games. also id really wanna see the exact hp count of my teammates and enemies on their healthbar so i can know exactly how much i still have to do to get the kill or whatever. take all that with a grain of salt as im someone who wont have access to the game until global, just some thoughts.
i dunno really, i was excited on the announcement and the demo but when looking what the game is like, i dunno... i got nothing really what to be excited for. it just felt like it's there, i dunno for it to be excited to make it global though.
The replayability is getting faster and faster times. Different rarities sounds worse than the current system and I like the gear/weapon unlockability as it is. Maybe I'm wrong
I reached max level during the beta and I absolutely loved the beta. My absolute favorite part of the beta was the music. The soundtrack was so good i could listen to it all day. My biggest compaint was that some bosses like the bone smasher can dash out of your screen and not give you resources if he dashed right before dying. I experienced that a few times and that was super annoying. Other than that i loved the beta

sadly it’s not brawl but we’ll take it
Bot
It just seems like another Minecraft Dungeons, Just global, and with less weapons and content. Unless they add a unique feature to REALLY differentiate it, I may not get too invested in it.
looks fun! I agree with many points including customization. instead of gender locked, it looks gender less xD
I sadly😢 can't play it because i am in europe, but just from kairos's gameplay i am convinced that this game is a banger.
I can’t wait to play it and I’m excited for you to release videos for it
My own criticism is mainly that they need to make the raids and solo trials especially less dps checky.
Moco feels like what clash heros was supposed to be.
It's not globaled yet after 5 month
Best game ever!! Please go global. Love your videos Kairos been watching you for 4 years now you and lex are awesome!! Keep up the great work!!❤😂
I NEED BRAWL THEORY AGAIN LOOK AT THE LOREEEEE PLS PLS PSLLSLSL
My first thought for replayability was to add a random substat system to weapons similar to destiny 2. That way you might get the cool new weapon but u have to keep grinding if you want the God roll that synergizes the best.
As lvl29 monster hunter I agree with everything you said except the weapon rarities i don t want to play one raid for hours to get nothing, overall really good reviev
Clash Mini creaters watching kairos say THIS is the game that will go global: 🤓🤓🤓
Fr fr 😂😂😂😂
This aged well...
i loved everything but as someone who plays solo, matchmaking for raids barely worked the entire time. very rarely would I get other players and would usually end up with bots. made progressing past a certain point feel impossible.
Game dev: makes non predatory item unlock system for the game
Karios: but what if you didnt
7:07 Blud had to Clarify💀
I suggest that they make it so specific levels give you a special piece(s) that will be gained from a quest or after a mission that can be crafted into a weapon
I'm so excited you think the game will go global too!
Grinded the game non stop... it was extremely addicting and if they only do good things with it from here on, definitely going to grind the game non stop when it comes out again
10+months later and still not out yet. Would really love to play this game...
Honestly so excited for this game's future, think it will be like with Brawlstars, so hyped for first few years and than it will be soo hard to progress like last coins nerf for BrawlStars...
I hope they do what they did with brawlstars and just release it to more people cause thus us another game where you'd wanna play with your friends
I started grinding 2 ish hours a day then slowly slowed down and progression seemed pointless. Upgrading weapons is definitely the scariest thing for f2p players
i wish more of supercell games made to the global market. since I'm not in the us, i haven't been able to play some of their games, which is kinda sad
This is the type of game I wanted from Supercell for so long when I was younger. I seriously cannot wait for this game
11:46 kairos singing Amsterdam by nothing but thieves
Bro it’s been 5 months dude when is it coming😢
The official channel is uploading new weapon designs so there is hope
I think it would be good that if you want to upgrade your weapon to level 6 (for example) you have to complete the raid 7times in normal dif. 3times in hard dif. and 1time in nightmare
Then you're able to put your loot in and upgrade the weapon from level 5 to 6
Randoms not understanding some of the raid mechanics did get frustrating
I miss it like crazy it ran so good on the z fold 4
This is the first mobile game in a long time where I keep constantly checking to see if any updates on it have come out. It looked good on my S23 Ultra, but I'm looking forward to playing this on the Fold 6 at the end of the year.
Having played Albion online and seeing PvP in this and how unfair it is when you have computer and mobile going cross platform is a bad idea. Maybe it would work for this game though
Very excited for the game, but they do need to fix some things. It really is too easy. Of course there are other things to fix, but the good things about the game really overcome the bad. Thanks for covering this Kairos!
Love you Kairos ❤ You were the first Brawl Stars creator I ever watched. Much love and God bless from Ireland.
I love how music changes while playing
The best waty to get items in my oppinion is at the end of the Raid when You killed everything you`ll get a random from 10 that are specifically for that zone.4 commons, 2 rares 2epics 2 legendaries ETC. it makes you get what`s the rarest and even if you did get the rarest let`s say the rares is a weapon and your spells are still bad.The spells are Epic so instead of goin for legendary items you`ll want that specific epic spell.
You had me excited with that title
Fightning doesn't feel like fightning, just killing monsters, I like dodging, but would like more action
This game would be huge on mobile! It looks incredible!
As a PVP focused player I really hope they add a lot of skill based components to the game!
I wish I could play the Supercell betas, but I’m in the USA so I can’t :(
8:10 glad to be one of those 20
I dont even enjoy mmorpg games but omg i loved moco so much, i really miss it
I think to make it special the legendary they should do the mastery on weapon and if your weapon get max mastery it upgrade to legendary
This game looks amazing if I could be a supercell creator this is what I would make videos on
This must be the spiritual successor of Clash Quest lol. I cant wait for this game to go global!
The replayability is getting faster and faster times. Different rarities sounds worse than the current system and I like the gear/weapon unlockability as it is. Maybe I'm wrong
As a casual player this game is absolutely one of my favorites
I reached max level during the beta and I absolutely loved the beta. My absolute favorite part of the beta was the music. The soundtrack was so good i could listen to it all day. My biggest compaint was that some bosses like the bone smasher can dash out of your screen and not give you resources if he dashed right before dying. I experienced that a few times and that was super annoying. Other than that i loved the beta
Do you plan on making a KairosCo channel?
He mentioned in a live stream that he probably won't make a mo.co channel, but if the game does go global, he might think of making a new channel
What are your thoughts on clash mini kairos , what does it lack rn
What the hell happened to the Clash heroes?
That was the most anticipated ClASH game ever ? It has been 2 years.
