But the reason people think they live up there in the snow is because people frequent those mountain passes and they're much easier to be seen when going over the snowy mountain passes, nowhere to hide. They are 5 to 7 foot tall and weight 150 to 500 lbs. They are the most arboreal of the extant hominin species, and the only extant hominin species of the 4 major species that exist only in the one continent.
