    I enjoyed this video. I will get on his channel because I've taken up both of these hobbies and my goal is to make a sheath for all of my knives. Thank you, Sandy.

    A great watch for anyone, thanks for sharing Zed and Sandy!, To anyone watching there are so many areas of knife making where it simply cannot be rushed, one of which Sandy eluded to, which is age checks and I tip my hat to all makers who put in this thorough due diligence, and whose commitment keeps this creative community in high standing in all areas!

    • @Zedoutdoors
      @Zedoutdoors  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Indeed it's a process that can often be overlooked or rushed so it's good to see makers taking that so seriosuly. Hope you're keeping well Scott and we're long overdue a catch up ~Peace~

    Great video, and remarkable attitude by Sandy. You can see he's clearly excited about possibly promoting others to get into the craft! Doesn't care it might mean more competition, he just loves what he does!

    Oh cool...My *blade vice* .....so good to see it after all this time. Only 6 of them were made and 5 in the hands of great tool/knife makers....( one was stolen while in transit to a knifemaker)... Great series of vids mate.

    That anvil is worth it's weight...like rocking horse poop now the big ones like that. Good to see Sandy's and your video on your meet up again after do long. And Sandy's workshop has changed drastically from the early times of Jacklore Knives. Atb Zed

    • @Zedoutdoors
      @Zedoutdoors  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Indeed it's amazing how much those anvils go for and crazily their prices go up as time goes on because they are so few and far between. Many thanks for watching Steve and stay blessed my man ~Peace~

    Good and informative overview by both you and Sandy. Much appreciated. Further more Sandy I have seen your work and I would say that a 'custom' knife should only be available at a premium. Why do you you think that talented artists (painters) can charge a premium for their creation. Sandy love your work.

    • @Zedoutdoors
      @Zedoutdoors  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I wholeheartedly agree John, many makers under sell themselves especially considering how talented many of them are ~Peace~

    Sandy, So Scouts are out of production! Did the Hornet replace the Scout?
    A very nice face mask positive air pressure machine. I used an Airstream back in 1985. Great machinery in your shop.Quite the investment. In 1998 I bought a Laguna 18"for resawing. Used it a bit, but way too much for a small shop.

    • @Zedoutdoors
      @Zedoutdoors  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Indeed it's amazing how much the machinery develops over the years and that face mask was a nice addition ~Peace~
