Very helpful video! Do you know if the alternator is clutched? I have 2012 accord v6 auto that needs an alternator and there are clutched pulley options available.
Great video. My daughter needs a new one. She has a 2012 Honda Accord EX-L 3.5L FI SOHC 6cyl. Automatic. She live 4 hours away. Do you think that car needs the 130.like the one you used ? Thanks
😊I’m referring to this video and same year Acura TL’s and other cars that use the same or similar J-series engine code. I’m specifically trying to replace the alternator and accessory belt tensioner on my 2014 Honda Accord V6 EX-L (Navi) manual coupe. Aside from the lack of tutorial videos for the 9th generation (2013-2017) Honda Accord V6, there’s also a lack of MANUAL transmission alternators and starters for the V6 manual… I thought the MT modeled alternator and starters for the 2.4L I4 models were hard to find, but this sucks even more…. Oh, and one last thing, the engine bay room SUCKS to work on, compared to the mostly spacious I4 engine bay.
Man, if you want to make a video, why don't you learn how to do the job first instead of figuring it out on the video? And why don't you break all the bolts? Loose first so that you just have to show us where they are.
Clear alternator removal instructions! They're helpful to change the a/c compressor ✅

It's hard to say the auto parts store should be able to tell you by the options you have .
@@HooptiesGarage thanks for the reply. Auto part store say either 1 will work.
Very helpful, Thank You!!!

What a terrible video you can't see a thing that you're doing. It looks like your camera is 10 feet away.
