For anyone that wants to start a fire super quick always bring those skinny white candles and matches. Break it in half and light it up and put in between the log. The consistency of the candle will have your fire start super quick!
Please switch out your fire alarm battery. Great video.

Logically, they change codes after each visit 'cause we (I) saw your entry code. Anyway, this is a nice idea, even for a solo trip to recenter, reconnect (by disconnecting w/tech), & refocus. I'd have to take something to cover the window for when I settle down for the night. Would hate the thought of someone watching me as I slept (I've watched too many scary/thriller movies.) Glad you enjoyed it.
Yes they change the codes after each person and all the windows have shades that you can pull down for your privacy! I agree a solo trip here would be amazing!

The wood wasn’t free but i weighed out the cost of buying my own wood and traveling with it and figured it wasn’t worth it since I believe they charged around 6-9 dollars extra if you used their wood.
I'm here with my wife the damn water isn't working lol. Still nice to get away.

This was East! They recently opened a new Western Catskills location in December.
@@SabrinaLatoya looking to take my wife for our anniversary and wanted to know which was which. They don’t post photos of each location on the site which is annoying
@@BobbyKawecki it was confusing for me as well! Originally they had a Catskills East and Catskills West. I believe the combined the two to become “Eastern Catskills” and “Western Catskills” is now a whole new location! I can only assume that the cabins in both locations are similar just that western is newer!
