      Thank you for watching, we really appreciate it. The park in Tokushima was a beautiful place with much history. On to Wakayama City! 😀

    What a beautiful and spacious park! Good place for strolling. I just can't remember what I did in Tokushima, so I'm glad I got to see it today. I think I met my friend there and spent a couple days in Shodoshima. It's sad so many castles had to be demolished. I didn't know there is a ferry service between Tokushima and Wakayama. I agree with you it's so easy to take what we have for granted. Look forward to see Wakayama Castle again.

      I'm not sure why I was, but I was surprised how large and beautiful the park is. So much space to enjoy and explore. The old castle walls, and the bridge we walked over, Gejyobashi, really help remind of the history in that area. It is sad so many castles were demolished. :(
      The ferry service worked out very well, and was so much quicker than taking the train all the way around. Wakayama Castle is coming soon! :) A little sneak peak in the next video.
      I have a question for you, what do you prefer, shorter 20-30 minutes videos or longer 45-55 minute videos? I'm curious!
      Thanks for watching!

      I will love 40 - 45 minute videos. I’m sure there are people who prefer shorter videos. But I like long ones when they are about traveling.

      Thank you! I don’t have enough subscribers to do a poll yet. 😂 I have to ask a few of the people who comment.

    I'll have to book on a ferry next time! Lying down is the ideal travel position haha

      @DocumentedTravels  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      There is also some ferry action to Hokkaido, just saying. :) Nicole loves a good lay down while travelling.
      Were you as surprised as us when we got to the top to see the castle ruins? LOL!

      @@DocumentedTravels Such a swindle once you got to the top haha. They're quite liberal with what they call ruins, went to one "ruin" in Fukushima and there were a lot of reconstructed buildings haha

    • @DocumentedTravels
      @DocumentedTravels  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      LOL! I’m leaning towards your “ruins” than ours though. :D They are definitely liberal with the term. We haven’t gotten enough subs yet to have an official “poll”, so I have to do it unofficially through comments with those who comment. :) I know I’ve asked you before but wondering if your opinion is the same. Do you prefer 25-35 minute long videos or the 45+ minute long videos?

      @@DocumentedTravels I love long videos, I tend to watch in sections while on the treadmill throughout the day. The longer the better!

      @DocumentedTravels  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I’m glad I asked again, I remembered incorrectly! That’s 2 for 2 for longer ones so far. I need to figure out how to get this channel growing. I fear TH-cam doesn’t really reward our style of longer videos. Kyde and Eric are having the same problem (although compared to us they are huge!).

    I had to laugh when you called me out about you not being in shape. I'm sitting here, and I'm incredibly out of shape! I don't think I've been this bad in years.
    Nicole wanting to sleep on the floor of a ferry struck me as ironic, since I have insomnia right now. My comfortable bed is empty because I can't sleep. I don't think I could ever sleep on the floor (I have tried in an airport once).

      @DocumentedTravels  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Did I say that? 😬 Probably just relaying what you told me, I hope…
      I’m with you, sleeping on just the floor is not my jam, but put a futon down and I’m all over it!
