Stop it. Part of the fun in sports is witnessing the come up of an athlete. Whether it’s a pro boxer/MMA Fighter or a basketball player. The younger years are fun to watch because it sparks your imagination of what the future could hold. I felt the same way about Giannis’ rise his rookie season.

Shaq being extra lmao. Part of having the pressure on means people expect u which the great ones capitalise of on. Bring the pressure on the young superstars and let the grow in front of the eyes. That’s one of the best ways to get a superstar icons like Lebron, MJ, Kobe, ect. By putting the pressure on before it’s even fully expected and see them come through on the other side. Nobody is expecting Wemby/Chet to win year 1. They are raving at where they are already and what they think they can be which is perfectly fine.
Neither could guard Shaq at this point. I don't see Chet ever getting to that point, Wemby might. Although even with fantasy Wilt discussions (who was a bit over 300 pounds for most of his career) I argue Wilt could have slowed Shaq more than almost anyone, but eventually Shaq would have found a way to dunk on his head. With these guys it would be in the first possession, over, around or through them, however Shaq wanted.

He's more athletic and is probably more durable. There's racial factors there that people want to ignore but are realities.
