I have a serious question why do I see all of the very best players skip every single ammo box and ammo crate. I'm in Elite, and I snap up every one of them I see. Am I not playing that correctly?

I think they are just relying on collecting ammo from the people they eliminate

You need 10 rounds to kill someone who spent 10 minutes looting ammo for you. After a few kills you're ammo cap

open them if you find them but dont search for them. Pros dont open them because they kill so many players and usually only need 1-2 magazines to do so/
