@@tomcat5284 Jende is more oil based and Gunny Juice is a water base. Also Gunny Juice has a higher diamond concentration and also the diamonds of GJ will not clump together forming a larger abrasive particle. So it doesn’t cause large scratches

January is usually a very slow month. And December the factory closes most of the month. I am just getting some items I ordered at the beginning of December. Then we had a ton of orders come in at the end of December and January. Usually things are dead right now and they pick back up at the end of February or beginning of March until mid May. Then things die until Blade Show Atlanta. The summer slows down until mid August or early September. Generally September is my biggest month. The peak times are changing and becoming more random so I am trying to navigate the new trends. Unfortunately being a mom and pop show I can’t afford to sit on too much inventory at once. We’re continually restructuring things to be in a better position to be ready for the fluctuations in business. I have been hitting the automotive industry such as carwashes and detail shops to sell my Gunny Glow “The World’s First Smart Cleaner”. I own a few Mayabi birchwood and black knives. Getting ready to do some sharpening. What grit gunny juice would recommend for a mirror finish? PS I use a TSPro Kadet pro sharkpening system
@@mikesamolsky4719 you should be able to have a decent mirror from the 1 micron. As you go lower in micron size the depth and clarity of the mirror gets better. But the 1 micron I believe you will be happy with
Yeah it's good, but it's Very expensive,, there are products on the market, which are just as good, (if not better) at a much more reasonable cost,, (imho)..
I have a toolbox filled with diamond compounds, emulsion, waxes. K Schwartz was the only one close to gunny juice in performance. Venev/gritomatic has some decent cheaper alternatives but you're definitely not going to get the same consistency and performance. It's expensive but well worth it imo. You get what you pay for
In independent testing this beat out the closest competitors by at least 2 to 1 in performance. I challenge anyone to do a side by side test comparison with anything on the market. Yes it’s expensive. It’s expensive to make. I have the tightest abrasive particle specs in the business. My margins on this product are low. Checkout @neveradullmoment. There’s a video comparing this with other products.
I won’t carry a knife with a messed up secondary bevel like this. Looks ridiculous. I can sharpen a knife for years and my cutting bevel will never look like this. It needs to look tight and crisp
@@KaGeN102 that’s the factory angle on it so take that up with Spyderco. Evidently you missed that part of the video. But please by all means make sharpening videos and show us how it’s done. I would love to see what kind of work you do. The industry needs more quality sharpening videos

DLT has 30ml bottles of 1 micron. I should have some more of my empty bottles by Monday that I am waiting on
