Good morning my friend, that was another extremely excellent build, even if it was a OOB build you still have great attention to detail, congratulations on a job very well done, best regards from Australia, Les
Beautiful looking aircraft. I purchased the MF dual kit box, last year, as well as the MF 3-d printed 1/48 scale maintenance figures. These i believe are marines supposedly to represent an island base unit in the south pacific probably for the Solomon campaign so my plan is for an island diorama, have purchased a couple of Tamiya jeeps and plan to purchase the Arifix 3 point refueling vehicle, while a British vehicle i think the New Zealanders may have used these. Anyway ive never built a corsair before, much less a MF version, im building Tamiya's version of tge F4U-1/-2 first to get a feel for the aircraft build. Already have built (somewhat) the base and number of scratch built palm trees, and a shed (roof only). Im rambling now. I would to thank you for this video, i have saved for future reference when i start my MF builds. Definitely one w/folded wings. Thank you.
Amazing job and endresult. Having done a Hellcat and Dauntless myself, I am still aiming to pick up on a 1/48 Corsair some day soon. @MM Scale Models: how would you rate this Magic Factory Corsair versus other Corsairs in the market? I love the many options and details but also feel it's a bit 'over-engineered'. Again, your result is just amazing! 2nd Question: did you consider buffing up the US insignia's? It seems they are still bright white as opposed to the rest of the plane.
IMO the Dark Sea Blue is a very tricky color to weather being such a dark color and you nailed it, absolutely stunning work! Do you recommend sealing the model w/ a clear flat/satin before and after you do water pencils? Or can the water pencils go straight onto the model after using oils, enamel washes etc..?
Thank you. Pencils do best on matt surface so in this regard yes, a coat of flat varnish is necessary. Here is a detailed video th-cam.com/video/KEopWdYHQno/w-d-xo.htmlsi=8WtVH2BwSFl1w4Yf
You talk a lot in the video which annoyed me so I turned off the sound and watched the video please stop gossiping and let your art speak without exaggerated explanation🎉🎉🎉🎉❤❤❤
Thanks to model building, it inspired me to become a current day Fighter Pilot and I still build models!

Magnificent result, as usual. ❤
Thank you! 👍
Stunning result as always!!
Thank you! Cheers!
Amazing job, I like many paint techniques you use, such as the oil paint dry brushing for highlights in the cockpit.
Thank You 👍
Superb job as usual! Nice weathering & attention to detail. Well done.
Great build and a great result. I enjoy watching model build videos with narration and you did a great job.
Everytime I watch your videos, I have to go buy another kit..LOL. beautiful work as always bro
This was an enjoyable watch and a really good outcome. However it seems to over complicate things somewhat thus I'll stick with the good ol' Tamiya.

Despite all that is said about this kit, it looks fantastic.
I had a blast going through the sprues and at the end of the day this is what matters the most.
Bravo!
Does that cleaning brush really work?(anti-static)
Suburb!😊
