Yes we will import gas that we have given away to overseas interests with no royalties and pay dearly for it.

Yes, renewable power has been overrated by enthusiastic supporters that fail to understand this approach has it's own issues of reliability, and associated often ignored pollution.
For Victoria, that push against gas options for housing while unreliable electricity supplies is likely, could leave many in peril during black-outs.🤨

Did you know off ocean water rise you could have that asset at the moment not like there turbine under the fan blade water or the bad pipe fire issue with low ocean flow gates to a storage pool area that to turbine generator load amounts could to in flow likely multiple flow gates to a 3 day run storage pool if the in flow per day equal that total run time your up the second issue is water return in hover it flows large amounts to a free flow return but this would since at low ocean level turbo pump at likely around 15/25% that total power produced that's two from me electric motor turbine generator vs this bull on top to your hydro wind solar that's not working properly if you had to total water and at the flow out use storage pools to a small return tube on TH-cam kids science stuff as it spins a fan all day its low flow but if the tube was 2m to the pool to flow it back and this had multiple pipes and storage to the totals it just might pay out dug know what your education payed for a party.

Economic hardship. As it has to all be replace everything every 10 years. Deforests thousands of achers of fertile land and polutes the ground under it.
While having to mine rare earth materials to make them, that are harder to find than coal.
They refuse to make these solar and wind farms over car parks and warehouses. That are just wasted roof space and are already connected to the power grid.
They're causing more harm than good. As each tree cut down is reducing the c02 converting done. So they are destroying the planet, not saving it with these solar and wind farms purely on their preferred locations. Just so they can grab as much land as possible.
