- Palermo, Sicily - If we had to sum up this city in one word, it would be VIBRANT! As Italy's capital of culture, it’s no wonder why Palermo bursts with life. This energetic Sicilian capital is rich in history, culture, art, music, and gastronomy, all of which have shaped its identity throughout the centuries.

Thank you for helping us nurture our farm and our community!
Palermo is great. I was there for around 2 months last year. The cathedral and churches are magnificent. The farmers market you went to was it organic produce? What was it called? Where is it situated as I didn't come across it when I was there. Great video. Thank you 😊💕
I love this blog
Thank you! 😊
You know your husband looks like American actor Liev Schreiber? They could pass as brothers. Love the photos, they are amazing. Please do a video about the photos.
😆 There is something similar. Thank you for a compliment about photos, one day we will do a video about it ❤️
He reminds me of the italian singer Lucio Dalla...
Hello from Toronto! i just found your channel and have watched almost all of your blogs. My family is from Salemi Tp.My mother and father were born and raised in Salemi, my father and all his brothers were farmers there, and always had a vegetable garden every summer here in Toronto. i love Sicily so much! whenever i go to visit i feel like my ancestors are around me welcoming me. I have many aunts and uncles and 1st cousins in Salemi. I look forward to watching more of your life story! really enjoy watching your channel!
@alc4967 Hello Tortonto! 👋 We are happy to hear that you are enjoying our channel. Sicilians love nature and growing their own food, so I am not surprised your family had farmers in family too. One day we will be visiting Salemi too as these days we hear more and more about it. Thank you for following our journey ❤️ Warm regards from Sicily
@@SomethingLikeThis1can’t wait until you visit Salemi! I think it’s only 35 mins down the road. I will be watching
@alc4967 we don't know when but one day for sure 😉
You know the UK and probably how Farmers Markets there are generally very expensive and therefore elitist, similar in other Northern European countries. Is this the same in Sicily? Or is the produce affordable for “normal” folks?
I have to say most of the farmers' markets are not expensive. This was based in a rich area of Palermo and, therefore, was more expensive.
Thanks guys, we need to visit Palermo one day, your photos look fabulous. Ciao ragazzi
Can you still gain entry into the catacombs !?
@AnthonyWeston-g6g Yes you can, but can't take photos or video
My husbands family is from Corleone. We have been there. It’s a drive into the middle of the island. We did the museo antimafia. Its worth it-Diana
love your videos thank you. Thank you for showing Palermo. Would you ever consider showing what property is available to buy, maybe small farms
I am watching the series on the channel ARTE "La mafia uccide solo d'estate" which is located in Palermo and surroundings and I enjoy it very much!
Love you guys❤ Have you thought of doing wedding photgraphy in the summer and farming the rest of the year?
Maybe you could store tables, chairs. etc. in Palermo if someone has spare space in garage or at home somewhere. Looks like a great place to sell your harvests.
Would it be possible to share a table at the farmers market with someone?
Hello. Best wishes for your planning!
My husband and I are looking at houses and have worked out our finances to make it happen. Can you recommend a realtor in the Messina area?
Hi there. Sorry but we are on the other side on the island. Check Facebook group called "Expats living in Sicily". Somebody might be able to help out!
