Reminds me of a ceramic coaster. Keep up with this. I’m so glad you tried the wax seals. I bought the Wow powder from SSS. They wrapped it in bubble wrap but as I took it off what a mess. It was the Tri colors. I don’t know if I still have shrink plastic. Doubt it. So nice experiments

I've got my neighbor hooked in these heat/melt avenues and we've had several get togethers with WOW's and our Pancake griddle. After the first play date I brought up several 12" square ceramic smooth smooth finished ceramic tiles to absorb the heat faster when we remove them from the griddle. I set up everything pretty much in advance. Of course like you it goes where did I put that? Also I had some much larger cut out dies and found wanting the larger pancake griddle same/similar one as the 4" version. I also splurged and bought the pre-cut parchment round papers to help out and by pass cutting my own. I did pick up another package of parchment at the local dollar store though. And I ran a bunch of it through my paper trimmed cut down to small squares that fit well in either griddle. Finally I connected it using a surge protector 10' extension AC and USB outlet. This has an on off switch easy to reach and this way I can turn the griddle off and on as I work. I discovered they can get too hot if I'm wasting too much time preparing my projects so it's nice to cut the power to it too. Also to cut off power to cool it down before unplugging. I'm happy with both sizes of griddles. I have yet to use the foiling plates or glimmer plates I have so many and foil yet. I do have the Glimmer foil machine by Spellbinder and love their plates. A funny on me I was making personalized not books for friends using the glimmer alphabet to spell out names and initials. Well Debbie was DEB because the mini book cover was too small for Debbie spelled out. When it came out it was PERFECT. NOT it spelled BED !!!!! OMGosh. I had to show Debbie the booboo cover but of course she got a proper DEB one After a few marathon fun days using the heat foiling plates and all I put it all away and haven't used it since. I don't see why the griddle won't work as well. I have lovely sayings and designs in the glimmer and other hot foil plates and been planning on trying a few other techniques that use the plates cold and with inking and embossing/debossing plates through the die cutting machine/press. I bought a few favorite Pigment ink pad colors that I've learned work better than other inks on the glimmer/foil plates when using that technique. I plan to play more with both heating with the griddles and going cold with inks. Thank you thank you thank you for your creative fun sharing videos. So thoughtful of you to share with all of us.

The foiling plate worked off camera, typical, I don’t think I left it long enough or fiddled too much that it cooled 🥴🥴 I think we’ve all made boo boo’s like that, I bet she saw the funny side 😂😂

I saw one crafter use circles cut from silicone oven mats. They are reusable. Another option.
Absolutely, I know I mentioned in the live (can’t remember if it was on here) that I also cut up a heat resist mat 🥰🥰🥰
Love this but I couldn't get the parchment paper off.
Oh it shouldn’t stick, unless you had a bit of powder on the underside, the pan should be non stick 🥰🥰🥰
