I lived in this area since 1978 till 2005... I miss a lot of what made this home... My health required my leaving.. I noticed that some changes have been made... But some of my favorite places still remain... Thanks for warming up my memories...
I remember when the amphitheater was blue, and the buildings behind it was not even built yet. Back in 1978. A beautiful time. And the lighthouse at ponce inlet. At 10:45, I actually drew the lighthouse with the palm trees. The only thing missing was the leaves overhead. These videos are getting better and better. Keep up the good work.
At 7:36, I remember back in the day, when the amphitheatre was teal inside opposed to the beige pigmentation it now has. What I miss more than ever is the sunrises over the atlantic. At 11:29, when working in Daytona, I helped work on the hotel pictured here. In my opinion, Daytona is becoming the most beautiful city in florida. For this video however, I sincerely wished that background sounds of the pounding surf could've been heard.
What a Great video. My daughter and grandson are coming down next year to live in Daytona Beach Florida. I will miss them both. But she will come and get me so I can visit them and see the ocean and Florida. Love dad and papa Terry.😎
