- The video this time is a little different than my normal train video's, it's on my layout that I'm still working on. This is a video of what I experienced wiring and using the Atlas USCB system on my N scale DC wired layout. Covered in the video is the parts I bought, problems I have had, and where I have found I could save money. All the Atlas signal system parts I have bought came from an E-bay store called Iron Planet Hobbies. Tomar Industries and Midwest Model carried good aftermarket signals and the optical block detectors I bought at Iowa Scaled Engineering( this isn't an advertisement, it's just where I found all my supplies over the past couple years putting this system together). Thank you to all the people who have posted model railroad tutorials on youtube, without them I never would have gotten this far on my layout.
Thank you for this video. I bought one of the controllers but have yet to try it out. Impressive layout!
Thanks for the info, I am going to try these on my layout
Your welcome.
Looks like your back into the hobby pretty good. Also looks like your having fun too. One suggestion I would put some type of fuses or breaker with all those boards and etc powered up. It may save you some electronic components due to a short and etc .
Thanks for the idea.
