She is the most under rated actress in Hollywood. The definitely deserved the oscar for her performance at The Impossible. Her beauty is so raw, so genuine, like a goddess and something about her makes me so safe, i bet she's a very kind woman. I hope she will get an oscar soon in leading role category. Don't give up Naomi!
She's so brilliant. I recently watched her in The International. Excellent, as always. I'm due for another Naomi Watts film. So many wonderful performances to choose from.
She is so lovely, natural and true! And so sincere! I like her as a person and an actress! I think she is one of the most wonderful actresses nowadays!
Absolutely brilliant in The Impossible. I think she should've won the Oscar for that - as much as I like Jennifer Lawrence, I think Watts showed much more realism, more emotional depth and diversity in her role than Lawrence did. In my opinion it is much harder to play a normal person going through an emotional trauma than it is to play a person with a mental illness. Many actors (incorrectly) assume that with mental illnesses, you can just make the character "crazy" and everybody will go along with it. I've only seen her in one movie but already I love Watts as an actress.
She's Unique! has a gift. Sounds like she likes learning, experience things in life, is sensitive, passionate, has a big heart. Luv her even more now. Always been one of my favorite actresses
Naomi's been one of my favorite actresses ever since I saw her in Mulhulland drive.I came out of the movie scratching my head but I was sure of one thing;Naomi was frickin incredible. she's played a wide range of characters after that and has been great in all of them. She seems like a very sweet person as well.On an "unrelated" note, through this interview I just realised that her brother is Ben Watts.I'm also into photography and he shoots great stuff 4 mags like Details & GQ
She is British. She was born in England, but moved to Austrailia when she was 14. For YEARS I thought she was American!!! She gives an incredible American accent, check out the Ring. Crazy!
great interview. she seemed genuine, and the answers didn't feel pseudo-intellectual or scripted like a lot of those that actors spew out. she seems like a lovely person, and very well attuned to where she came from.
she really has a beautiful exterior doesn't she? which i believe emanates from a lively positive spirit which is within. every time i see her on a screen i feel good.
@akek23 I agree.I was blown away by her performance in Mulholland Drive; it was oscar worthy stuff but she didn't even get a nomination.RIDICULOUS. I watched practically everything she was in after that and she always delivers. The last thing I saw her in was Woody Allen's "you will meet a tall dark stranger" and another movie "mother and child"(I think that's the name) and she was great in both. I missed Fair Game but will be checking it out on netflix.
I've always thought she's good until this morning when my Sunday paper included an ad that she appears in for Pantene, a Proctor & Gamble product. Proctor & Gamble is STILL using live animals to test its ingredients in, despite there being no regulatory requirement for them to do so. How is it that there are products right next to P & G's on the store shelf that are NOT tested on animals?
I think she's one of the Top 5 most talented actresses right now in Hollywood, and surely is my favorite. Her performances in Mulholland Drive and 21 grams blew me completely away. Too bad she wasted her talent in such shallow roles as in King Kong.
OK....who/what director made her think she was ugly??? And the Posh Spice uneasy thing? I dunno...you are a classic beauty dear...in the vein of all classic starlets of the past. (Posh is the Paris Hilton of Britain). Why Naomi hasn't starred in more films is beyond me!
Her charm really wins me over. To my friends I'm the biggest cynical dick that they know, but every time i watch any interview with Ms. Watts I feel all squishy inside. She's a natural charmer. And Mulholland Drive? A classic that would've fallen throught without her. Her charisma is truly the stuff of legend and I love how nervous she seems to get in interviews. Liev Schreiber is one lucky mutha*#A
Shes English actually. Grew up in Kent, near to where I live, where she was born. She said she considers herself to be a Brit. Look it up. Its on Wikipedia.
On Britannica’s website, it said that she’s British-born Australian. Whereas on the NNDB website, it said that her nationality is Australia 🇦🇺. Hence the accent.
If you want to put PhD after your name, you need to pass a doctorate program. If you want to put Attorney-at-Law after your name , you need to pass the bar exam. But anybody can be a casting director. There's no qualifications. One of the casting directors I had in LA got the agency in a divorce settlement
Aww wow this is wicked! thanks for putting this on here! i no this is going to souind stupid but i so badly want to do a film with heer!!!! i'm going to drama college next year lets hope it comes true! lol.
Isn't she lovely... 5:16 my favorite part... about Cat Stevens' Morning Has Broken "...I use it a lot as a sort of trigger kind of thing when I'm working" (the piano is Rick Wakeman btw). 3:48 wearing clothes and "keeping the tags on" Just like my sister.. only in NW's case I doubt it has anything to do w/ practical necessities...budgeting etc... an old habit maybe.

She's so talented, beautiful & down to earth. Amazing actress
She looks like an angel.
She's so brilliant. I recently watched her in The International. Excellent, as always. I'm due for another Naomi Watts film. So many wonderful performances to choose from.
just lovely beyond words. & so talented--a genuinely under-rated actor.
She is so lovely, natural and true! And so sincere! I like her as a person and an actress! I think she is one of the most wonderful actresses nowadays!
so nice to hear from Naomi's perspective. Such a talented actress!

Watts is leagues ahead of Lawrence...
She's Unique! has a gift. Sounds like she likes learning, experience things in life, is sensitive, passionate, has a big heart. Luv her even more now. Always been one of my favorite actresses
Naomi is my favorite actress and she's beautiful.
Excellent beauty, personality and intelligence. Especially liked her role in King Kong.
I loved the way naomi said "Why isn't she (her mother) looking at me". Isn't she beautiful and talented?
very sweet girl...good heart...humility is truly the window to the soul..
Naomi seems very grounded and real-
Love watching her on screen
She's very pleasant to listen to, and look at. She should be proud of that.
Hahaha, I love the part when she does the impression and then gets embarrassed. She seems completely real and genuine.

She is really good at mimicking others accent😂😂😂David Lynch “Ok Naomi OkOk
She has something special about her, she is so sweet and seems like a real human being!
Very touching and inspiring story at the end.
4:50 JAJAJAJ...love you Naomi!
She is British. She was born in England, but moved to Austrailia when she was 14.
For YEARS I thought she was American!!! She gives an incredible American accent, check out the Ring. Crazy!
In general, she’s British-Australian. That probably explains her Australian accent.
great interview. she seemed genuine, and the answers didn't feel pseudo-intellectual or scripted like a lot of those that actors spew out. she seems like a lovely person, and very well attuned to where she came from.
Wearing the tags on clothes the first few times you wear them is not terrible...it's terribly smart! Such a touching story at the end too!
she is such a fantastic actress! One of my favourites
she is absolutely lovely and adorable!
such a talented actress-i am looking forward to her new projects:-)
she really has a beautiful exterior doesn't she? which i believe emanates from a lively positive spirit which is within. every time i see her on a screen i feel good.
great interview!
So soft, so beautiful... sigh.
Oh my god she's so sweet and lovely and awkward! I love love her! And that impression of Lynch's voice, omg so funny, she's adorable.
SHES SMOKING HOT I KEEP THINKING OF HER AND I CANT STOP I LIKE IT
no she isn't. she was born in england, in a small town south of london.
I love Naomi Watts. One of my favorite if not.
I already liked you a lot as an actress and guess what? The song 'Morning has broken' was one of the songs played during my wedding in the church...
love her! she's so adorable..
@akek23 I agree.I was blown away by her performance in Mulholland Drive; it was oscar worthy stuff but she didn't even get a nomination.RIDICULOUS. sooo precious
how touching is her storry about morning has broken
I think that some words on their own sound the same with a British accent and an Australian one...But as a whole, the difference is pretty obvious...
love her ascent!!
Accent.
So sweet and honest!
"nothing a shot of vodka can't fix...or two." haha she's funny.
The first time I saw was in teh TV movie, Outsider with Timothy Dalton. Loved her!
I love her smile.
❤❤❤ I Love Naomi!

she's lovely, so real and authentic.
i love how she is so normal like us girls- full of insecurities (even though we all know she's hot), down-to-earth and such a fan-girl :)
wow what a great down to earth lovel girl .. her impression of posh was sooo funny!!!!!!!
@elcristinap shes australian therefore she has an australian accent
Wow..i like her. Line of work.
she's absolutely great!

one of the few good actresses, who busts her ass to get it right. Does anything to get it right. I'm so in awe of her ability..
Sign of a good actor - fascinating to watch dissolved into a screen character, while kind of 'ordinary' in person.
OMG i laughed so hard at 4:48, she's really funny!
I LOVE HER!!!!!!
I love how she made the face for Posh.
She's so normal
Her charm really wins me over. To my friends I'm the biggest cynical dick that they know, but every time i watch any interview with Ms. Watts I feel all squishy inside. She's a natural charmer. finally, a woman that can wear imperfection with confidence!
"can I get a photo"? hahaha, lovely!
Her in 21 grams! Hands down Oscar.....if only Charlize didn't knock it out of the park as a serial killing rapist of men..haha.
One of my fav actresses..go the aussie's in hollywood!

naomi watts, emma watson, keira knightley = the british, classy, hotness.
In Naomi Watts’s case, she sounds more Australian than British.
yeah !!!
So she is :) I thought she was Australian.
i love naomi watts. she is absolutely brilliant! not to mention beautiful.
is she australian?
Haha, I love the bit about Posh.
If you want to put PhD after your name, you need to pass a doctorate program.

David Lynch rules.
HERMOSA...!!!
Great face, great voice, great accent
i just love the way she looks in 'the painted veil' ...so much better than here...
@millefeori, Betty was a figment of Diane’s imagination. Diane and Camilla are reality based, while Betty and Rita are not.
Naomi, I wish you won't do THAT mistake again.
lol me too, that was an excellent representation of Posh
hahahah the impression of Victoria Beckham,..
Gifted pretty woman Naomi Watts.
Isn't she lovely... 5:16 my favorite part... about Cat Stevens' Morning Has Broken
"...I use it a lot as a sort of trigger kind of thing when I'm working" (the piano is Rick Wakeman btw).

@cosmicdingo love her accent :)
actually she's brittish ;o) but one of the best actresses, yep.
British-Australian to be exact.
@Flipper79able It is an art, plus you can get passionate to do anything
love her.
check out: Rudo , song Love Lights
Naomi junto con Nicole eres la más bonita actriz del Mundo. Besos y suerte
Neither are British. They are both Australian.

I love Naomi.
Spasm Girls and Naomi are from the same country??? Unconceivable!!!
