Your silence speaks volumes. Also found myself speechless upon my first playthrough, and still recovering. Thanks for sharing your playthrough highlights!
I was honestly paralyzed during the whole thing, up until Jenova's theme started overthrowing Aerith's theme in the boss battle (and yeah, it is actually part of the song, but you gotta wait quite a while for it to occur). When that happened... It was just rage. Saw the Limit Breaks filled up, immediately used em. Cometeor, Bioga, Blizzaga, Firaga... All -ga spells over and over. Sephiroth ain't gonna get away with it next time at the Northern Cave.
FFVII Rebirth was such an incredible game! Aerith ripped my heart out in this. Cried quite a few times too. Damn I love these characters 😍 READY FOR PART 3
I totally understand the emotions shown in the ending hell i was the same when i played the original still haven't had the chance to play rebirth due to the lack of having a ps5 but someday i will play it but i really loved how much emotion was shown to this game it truly is something else ❤
I confess I didn’t cry at the ending, but I thought the way they did the music for this was phenomenal. Shoutouts to the whole sound team and Yasunori Nishiki in particular for the Jenova bit, and to whoever did the River of Lights (which DID choke me up).
Just Platinumed Rebirth last night. For me it's not just a potential GOTY (which should win imo) but one of the bests experiences i've ever had in my life as an OG FF7 fan. I have a strong connection with FF7 and for me it's more than just a videogame. It teached me so many things of life that i will treasure them until the end of my days. This ending was a dream come true for me. Seeing Zack and Cloud reunited at last against Sephiroth made me shake and cry like a little baby non stop. The ending is so damn emotional that destroyed me the first time i lived it. FF7 Rebirth (and this whole trilogy when it's finished) is the experience of a lifetime for me and i feel so lucky for being alive in this moment to see my favourite game of all time in this shape and form at last.
i'm glad that they didn't change that fact that aerith dies in the game because her death that the driving factor in the game that spurs the group forward and in a sense activates the holy meartia
This is the best Jrpg ever made, the combat is nice, the sidequests were never boring. The music and graphics, the story, it has everything a modern rpg has to have. And that last part when bronco flew away without her and she said goodbye really was sad.
I really wish they built on her knowing/deciding to come here, or finding the location of the City. it felt way too rushed and just coincidental here. That being said, this scene gutted me. I hope we get to see a complete series of events in the next one, as this is a bit of a hot-mess with "what am I seeing" But that soundtrack. Holy. That final cut scene... ugh. That hits hard.
I agree! It feels like they’re going to revisit the whole sequence in the 3rd, that it was intentionally blurry and a rush of confusion. I’m hoping this is just a setup for an even grander payoff.
Yes she was always gonna die that's the biggest part that couldn't be removed from the game, directors said thing would only be added that would continue to ac.
@@sephiroth1501 she dies in the "main world" the party is in but the biggest mystery this time around is that we don't know which form aerith is appearing in the ending scene and that's the biggest question that the ultimania asks: is she an hallucination? a lifestream force? or a living breathing aerith? i have my own theories regarding that but i think regardless of that, this is definitely not gonna be the last time we see aerith, she seems to have an even bigger role than she had in the OG that's for sure. them killing aerith in the main world but keeping a version of aerith alive/around in some way allows them to follow the OG story while also adding new things to it.
any person that cried during Aerith death scene deserve my sub
Amen to that. Subscribed. DAMN they... damn.
And whoever doesn't is Jenova in disguise.
Here, here! I'll second that.
First time to this channel. I subbed, after reading this comment.
FF7 is my favorite game. I love these characters.
You were all of us, I was sobbing trying to do that damn Jenova fight.
when music started and then the way she say goodbye, it's really break my heart 😭
You really feel the finality. If anyone had doubts wether or not she was dead, that "goodbye" sealed it for me.
Your silence speaks volumes. Also found myself speechless upon my first playthrough, and still recovering. Thanks for sharing your playthrough highlights!

The best JARPG I've ever played hands down. I can only imagine the next game.
Jpannnnnnnnmm !!!
See you all in 2027/2028 then 😂

My new favorite game ever! CAN’T WAIT!
please tell me, that aerith will return in the 3rd part
Yes but only in his head@@meow40414
crying during the boss fight... yup..same. When I was 12 I didn't but damn as an adult this messed me up.
I was the exact same way, I needed to pause for a second to let most of my tears out. The music always gets to me man…
Man I wish I can play this game for the first time again. GOTY
On my 3rd playthrough myself, still hasn’t gotten boring yet 🤷♂️
Yeah. FF7 Rebirth is my GOTY.
I thought i was the only one that felt it like that...
I got so wrecked here. How she held it together 🤷♂️

Thanks for sharing your reaction. It's so amazing that I know it's going to happen but they get me anyway.
Thank you for watching! Gets me every time too lol

The music gives me “Hymn of the Fayth” vibes
I just finished it today man. I feel you brotha! 😭
I love this game❤
Now you know that all roads lead to the Reunion !
I felt exactly as you did though that boss, albeit I was a bit more rageful with my playthrough l, but I’m sure we’ll see her again in Part 3
Understandable, it’s just so hard for me to get upset at Sephiroth 😅
22:53 ❤
Wow, just wow 😢😢
Lol, bro you wiped your eyes with the booger tissue 😂
All good tho, i did the same
is there something wrong with the editing/video? I think the fight with aerith at the end got cut.
Was Aerith supposed to die? idk i only ever played Remake & Rebirth
Yes she dies here in the original
