      our taste in music differs so much. i truly am horrified by your yelp review. i discarded all information about the fourteenth amendment, although i frequently play the first part of this video just to hear the euphonious sounds that emit from my computer or phone. for i am in love with this song, and i'm still unaware of the name. this is all i intend to say to you. oh, for the horror of reading that little bit of text above this message is too much to endure as of right now. cheerio, madam! *tips hat*

    Up to 2:34 you were correct, it was SOLELY intended to grant citizenship to the newly freed black slaves, not every offspring of foreign citizens that were born on U.S. soil from the day of ratification forward.

    Prior to the 14th Amendment, U.S. citizen referred on to those who lived in the District of Columbia, Territories, Commonwealths and possessions as per Article 1, Section 8, clause 17, because the term United States is actually synonymous with the Congress assembled, which has no jurisdiction beyond 10 miles square of its location. You are a citizen of whatever state you live in, the United States only exists in DC. This was the first step towards centralizing more power to the federal government. For that reason Andrew Johnson vetoed it. Several congressmen from the Confederate states along with one NJ Senator voted against it and were expelled, then replaced with those would vote for it. The Confederate states were required to ratify it in order to regain entry to the Union. This amendment was unlawfully passed through threats and coercion and was unnecessary. All that was needed was to place all of the provisions in a treaty and require all states to become signatories. After passage, it was necessary to obtain the consent of the people in order for the Federal government to rule them. For this the passed the 15th Amendment ( Voter rights Act ), which requires you to register. The first question is "Are you a U.S. Citizen?" When you check yes, you give your consent and volunteer your servitude. The 14th Amendment didn't give the former slaves U.S. citizenship. It made slaves of all of us. Now they tax the Hell out of us and control every aspect of our lives. Also. By checking yes, you commit treason against your state. because you pledged your loyalty to a foreign power, which means you lose your Constitutional rights. In order to regain those rights you must seek a remedy, which is obtained by 2/3 vote by both houses of congress. Most elected & high ranking government officials obtain that remedy upon taking office, which may explain the apparent double standard of justice in this country today and they need to keep a lid on it. Because if people realized what's going on, all hell would break lose.

    So, are you saying that under Section 3, The Disqualification and Rebellion Clause, Joe Biden and Kamala Harris would be ineligible for federal and state office if they fomented or condoned the overthrow of a legitimate government or failed to make efforts to prevent such action?
    "Section 3
    No Person shall be a Senator or Representative in Congress, or elector of President and Vice-President, or hold any office, civil or military, under the United States, or under any State, who, having previously taken an oath, as a member of Congress, or as an officer of the United States, or as a member of any State legislature, or as an executive or judicial officer of any State, to support the Constitution of the United States, shall have engaged in insurrection or rebellion against the same, or given aid or comfort to the enemies thereof. But Congress may by a vote of two-thirds of each House, remove such disability."
    Or, is it limited as you claim solely to those during the Civil War?

    • @colehanover9341
      @colehanover9341 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Are you claiming that Biden and Harris engaged in the January 6 insurrection? Because the section says "engaged" and "given aid or comfort to," and the Biden administration did neither of those things

    The 14th amendment was illegally passed and should be declared annulled
    There was a reason why it was written very broadly and with such vagueness and it wasn't a good one
