The amount of effort, patience and self discipline you’ve had to not only do the challenge but record it, do the commentary and then edit the videos is astounding, I know I wouldn’t have lasted a day! Loving the video, currently almost 3 hours in!

wow i cant believe the 9.5 hours are over.. ive been watching this over the past two weeks... this video got me back into acnh, i had it playing in the back as i restarted my island, as i did my daily chores and i had it playing in the back when i just wanted to crochet and relax. what a cool challenge! this was so much fun to watch and i think the island turned out beautiful!
(Update) Just watched this whole vid in only 2 days. The way your island was slowly coming together was so pleasant to watch. At the end I really liked the island, and i will definitely be checking out the dream address today!
so, turns out 9 out of the 10 villagers on my island are from the current top 50, though I've had no time limit on getting them, and it's still my original island I've had since release. Also, 4 out of those 9 are in the top 15. Only one outside top 50 is Phoebe, and she only has a spot on my island because there aren't that many good Big Sister personality type villagers, especially considering my other restriction of 0 species overlap. (full list of villagers on my island, for those interested, is Ruby, Fang, Molly, Marshall, Fauna, Zucker, Raymond, Judy, Roald, and Phoebe)
I binged this video in like 3 days and it's reignited my ACNH love. I charged my switch for the first time in almost a year and got to it. I'm having so much fun. Thanks for this video

I can't believe how much animal crossing has evolved, 3 years ago i started my first New Horizons island up on christmas with my cousin, and we didn't have the features we have now. It made me think of the memories I spent on this game every weekend. Choosing island layouts is a feature I never had the opportunity to use. To all of the new Animal Crossing players, good luck to you. With all these new features I’m sure I couldn’t be where I am now. If you don’t believe me, check out when the original Animal Crossing came out. If you compare the 2, the difference is shockable. Animal Crossing changed my childhood and my adulthood throughout. It was so awesome to watch your thought process as you planned out your island! As someone who has restarted their island more times than I can count but never really did anything substantial, it's amazing to see how gorgeous islands are made! 5 hours in and i just have to say SUPER love the strategy of planning your layout and spots for buildings before decorating- ive never seen it done like this before i always went build by build and then connect it all later. but i really love the island layout planning before anything else i feel inspired
I’m about 2/3 of the way through this, been watching it over the last few days (and nodding off to it too!) and i CANNOT wait to get back to my house to get on my switch. I’m staying at my parents house whilst it’s the holidays and man… I’m itching to play new horizons now. Also it’s rare I find a creator that I can fall asleep to- your vibe is so calming and chill. i know all the discord calls were like scripted bits but something about it made me actually kinda sad X'D this video has kept me company while I've been working on inktober and getting to the end felt bittersweet, but man what a challenge! It's given me the acnh bug again and now I'm considering deleting my completed island to start over fresh :3c

@@CrossingMinute I did the same with fences I’ve known about this trick ever since the first original animal crossing but every single channel that I’ve seen like crossing channel and mayor Mori they do it sideways instead of giving yourself a corner to back yourself into
I'm honestly surprised no one else has done this! It feels like most people just rush through the game. This is a great way to slow down and appreciate the gradual progression.
I watched that whole video while trying to make my own blue roses (didn’t happen yet). That was so satisfying to watch. I hope you have more like this to take me through the rest of this torturous task I gave myself.
One kind of challenge that could be really fun (if you are interested in taking ideas) is one I always wanted to do in New Leaf but never could, because getting specific villagers was just too hard... was a Crazy Cat Lady island... just me and all cat villagers, turning the island into a cat lovers paradise! This game seems so much easier to collect villagers in with the island visits. Of course you could do it with any animal... Bird Sanctuary, Dog Park.. you could even do a geological challenge like Autralia or African animals only. ^^ Just something to play with :D
Omg I am cracking up at the 6:25:17 mark when yet another "possible poppy" erm...I mean "unlikely lily" with the drawings and internal monolog being made external dialog moments are absolutely killing me as I Binger all 9 hours of this while playing my island again ❤😂
I haven't played acnh in so long. This made me want to play again & do a no terraforming challenge along with some other small challenges.❤ The beginning when you'd skip the shells killed me. Lol I kept going "pick them up! Crafting supplies for the diys!" 😂 Also Miranda is my bday twin. 😂

I don’t usually comment on anything, but I’m only an hour and 30 minutes in and I love your editing and commentary style! It’s making me want to get sucked right back into playing it everyday (I can’t yet but soon will 😈) I don’t know if later you mention it or show it, but you’re able to get 5 daily guaranteed DIY recipes 😊 I found out when I was obsessively playing that in addition to the morning and afternoon beach recipe bottles, residents will give you crafting recipes 3 times a day: 1st 6am-12pm, 2nd 12pm-6pm, and 3rd 6pm-late. If no one is crafting in the morning, that means the one who will be hasn’t woken up yet. I made it a routine to open the game at 11:30am everyday to maximize this to fill out my recipe log and get the morning turnip price. I’d play until 6pm to finish off with the last DIY. I don’t know how many residents you need to have for that schedule to be accurate, but for anyone who didn’t know, now you do 😊❤ Have a great day everyone! ❤ Small edit: I didn’t realize there was a whole series and that this was a compilation 😅 this is the first video I’m watching on this channel 😂 and you did mention more recipes being available daily 😅 oops

Out of all the TH-cam channels I’ve seen you’re the only person so far who digs a hole to put yourself in a corner so that way you don’t get knocked back when you hit the rock
I couldn't imagine not having some kind of backstop. On my forever island I setup bushes and other items so I don't have to dig holes 😅
@@CrossingMinute I did the same with fences I’ve known about this trick ever since the first original animal crossing but every single channel that I’ve seen like crossing channel and mayor Mori they do it sideways instead of giving yourself a corner to back yourself into
I'm honestly surprised no one else has done this! It feels like most people just rush through the game. This is a great way to slow down and appreciate the gradual progression.
I watched that whole video while trying to make my own blue roses (didn’t happen yet). That was so satisfying to watch. I hope you have more like this to take me through the rest of this torturous task I gave myself.
One kind of challenge that could be really fun (if you are interested in taking ideas) is one I always wanted to do in New Leaf but never could, because getting specific villagers was just too hard... was a Crazy Cat Lady island... just me and all cat villagers, turning the island into a cat lovers paradise! This game seems so much easier to collect villagers in with the island visits. Of course you could do it with any animal... Bird Sanctuary, Dog Park.. you could even do a geological challenge like Autralia or African animals only. ^^ Just something to play with :D

I haven't played acnh in so long. This made me want to play again & do a no terraforming challenge along with some other small challenges.❤ The beginning when you'd skip the shells killed me. Lol I kept going "pick them up! Crafting supplies for the diys!" 😂 Also Miranda is my bday twin. 😂
oh i'm totally gonna try that no terraforming challenge (maybe some terraforming like adding more waterfalls to preexisting cliffs?) when i finish my first island.

In day 16 when you were decorating w flowers, I thought that the roses were too vibrant. Try using hyacinths sometimes, they’re my fav flower to decorate with

No joke I did no research on my island starting out a year ago and I landed Zucker as a villager which I now realize is super lucky 😂
I don’t usually comment on anything, but I’m only an hour and 30 minutes in and I love your editing and commentary style! It’s making me want to get sucked right back into playing it everyday (I can’t yet but soon will 😈)
I don’t know if later you mention it or show it, but you’re able to get 5 daily guaranteed DIY recipes 😊 I found out when I was obsessively playing that in addition to the morning and afternoon beach recipe bottles, residents will give you crafting recipes 3 times a day: 1st 6am-12pm, 2nd 12pm-6pm, and 3rd 6pm-late. If no one is crafting in the morning, that means the one who will be hasn’t woken up yet. I made it a routine to open the game at 11:30am everyday to maximize this to fill out my recipe log and get the morning turnip price. I’d play until 6pm to finish off with the last DIY.
I don’t know how many residents you need to have for that schedule to be accurate, but for anyone who didn’t know, now you do 😊❤ Have a great day everyone! ❤

I have almost finished this series and I am sooo sad. I am doing an intensive course that lasts a month and you have kept me company while I do my coursework. I got so invested in it I had to rewatch different days because I didn't pay enough attention to them! 💕

watched this whole video over the week, very well made i liked that you kept things to the point for the most part and didnt focus too much on the more tedious aspects of this game. rip house never lucky but still very entertaining. Now do it with just balloon drops 0.0!!!!
