I have the model MZ-NE410. While playing music, the menu activates itself. It doesn't affect the playback at all, but it makes me nervous and I don't know if there's something going on that could affect the MD. What are you suggesting? Thanks for your video, I never saw an MD inside. Greetings.
Hi, What i would do is try to get the front panel off to access the buttons, I’m sure a clean up with contact cleaner won’t hurt. Though I’m not quite sure because it’s usually the opposite meaning the buttons don’t wanna work. Good luck.
Good day kind sir, I have 2 Sony minidisc recorders MZ-R30 in mint condition but they do not “read, play or record” minidiscs but they both power up, I can’t see my self just throwing them away without at least trying to have them fixed.. I will sacrifice 1 for the other if need be, if you are up for the task at hand I would like to see into your services

Depending on the damage, you can do a board/component level repair or replacement.
But these units are cheap and you can find another one.
