I have one of your 2020 female hypo jungle het Kahl and she is enormous. I don't plan to pair her until next year. She just shocks me how robust and fast growing she is. She outpaces almost all of my other animals. Also, she's pure smoke show.

Thanks for another great vid, Jason. I've been holding back on breeding one of my adult Dumerils boas because I don't think she is big enough yet, I also can't tell if she has follicles or not. A little more on that might help me out.
It depends but I never let my hotspot go below 86. My cool end usually gets down to the mid 70s. I have a few videos on breeding that are worth checking out if you’re asking that question. I cover my temp cycle in those videos.
Hi J I’m wondering I have an eight month old Hytec boa she’s amazing I’m just wondering why she goes under her bedding and pops her head up ma just looks around I did put her in a bigger enclosure but she was doing it in her last enclosure also. Just wondering thx you

Hi Jason I have an albino male who's is just refusing to eat but was eating ok when I got him ,he is constantly looking for a way out the vivarium any help would be appreciated. Merry Christmas to you and your family
It is hard to say, as it could be a variety of things. Some will go off feed for the winter, but not usually unless there are females around, and they are breeding. It could be something with the snake itself, something enclosure related, or just seasonal breeding behavior.
Is it possible to miss an ovulation? Or do they sometimes not show? My male has been going at it sense mid September. And the cool side is 78-80...and warm side is around 88,90,92.... do conditions seem alright?
Conditions sounds good, but it’s 100% possible to not see or miss an ovulation. I do it all the time. During this time of year, I will usually write down all potential ovulations and also shed. Sometimes you will see a correlation to a possible ovulation and a swell that will give me some insights to potential birth

Down into the low 70s high 60s, but they always have a hot spot allowing them to get to 86

I usually say that when in doubt, skip the year. The extra year will do nothing but help them.

She’s hiding. That’s the main defense and hunting method.

It is but they are usually T+ sunglows rather than T- like the typical albino most people think of.
