How does the insanity argument jive with (a) the number of shots fired at the Judge; and (b) the position of the Judge on the ground as the shooter stood over him, shooting? These show conscious regard / intent.
This disgraced former sheriff, Mickey, has the emotional control of a 5-year old. He had no respect for the life of the Judge, believed himself to be judge, jury and executioner and belongs in prison, convicted of 2nd degree M. It has already been stated by the family that NOTHING INAPPROPRIATE was going on with anyone of them and the judge. You clowns who say that is the only reason you can think of why this would happen have the same shallow and immature mentality of Mickey.
So, speculation is not allowed? I have not seen one comment stating that to be the case. Only questions about the motive. So, it's shallow not to accept Your opinion, when all the facts aren't known. Gotcha
One little thing about this case that puzzles me. The idea that a deputy would need special training so he would know not to use his position of power to sexually assault a woman ... it takes special training to know not to do that? I don't know many people from Kentucky, but i would hope that a normal Kentucky person would already know not to do that without any special training.
I live in Kentucky,I've never understood the part of the Sheriff being responsible for an adult deputy's sexual actions. How do you train a deputy not to have sex with girls on monitors. And besides that why were they using the judges chambers. Those are 2 actual things that are supposed to be facts, the rest I take with a grain of salt until the facts come out in trial!
Law enforcement officers have to be able to contend with emotionally distressing situations without exception. No one can disagree with the fact that there are officers who should not be interacting with citizens due to their limited ability to contain their emotional overloads for a variety of reasons. The reality of the matter is that just because a person wears a badge with a firearm as part of their professional responsibilities, it does not disconnect them from the fact that they too are subjected to and react to the emotional challenges that make them humans. If this judge was in the wrong, he was deprived of a chance to prove his innocence or face conviction of guilt by a jury. No excuse for what the Sheriff did.
So was the judge merely trying to help the sheriff's family and the sherriff had a psychotic break or was the judge doing something sus too? I'm taking it they both had dirty hands of some level

His defence are going to plead tempary insanity as his defence to try and get lenancy at sentencing. There is more to this case than we know such as FBI investigations.
There were eight shots fired.
I think the judge was trying helping the sheriffs family get away from him.
Most likely!
WHAT THE ACTUAL HELL IS GOING ON WITH THIS?
HOW MANY OTHER INSTANCES ARE KNOWN ABOUT ACROSS THE ENTIRE COUNTRY.
You can not say something about the case until you have the facts. Fact one: video where clearly you can see the accused is shooting the judge several times. (People convicted for Murder only on circumstantial évidence.)
Other is only rumour, until trial where the prosecuter present évidence and testimonies of witnesses.
Why do we pay taxes for these terrible services we need major reform
What kind of reform prevents this from happening?
@@timcollins6183 you didn’t answer anything kid
@@Plutogalaxy guessing you got something better to add.And I meant citizens, monitoring, not the other chump ass corrupted greedy ass thugs
have you read Patrick Henry's address at the Virginia ratification? your question was answered 250ish years ago ...
@@Plutogalaxy i said monitor all police, not just sheriff's.And appoint a trustee in doing so,to complete my referrals!Do not lie or try to say i said anything diffrent.I know what I said!
If the sheriff gets off, the next thing you will see is murder suspects using the defense that they had a bad day.
Poor sense of control of judgement to shoot when in an emotional state. That disqualifies him for the job, secondly, it corroborates, through his impulsive actions, why his family wanted to be rid of him. No matter what his circumstances were, taking law into own hands is wrong. He was not in danger, he was a narcissistic weak emotional man as usual who couldn’t deal with rejection. Aw , poor baby, aiss whole
What's the definition of murder 🤔
How is this not capital murder????
No shameless ads like Law & Crime. No gratuitous speculation. Love News Nation.
You think this isn’t gratuitous speculation?! 😂👋🏻
Better not watch Ashley Banfield then; she spews untruths, speculation, bias and more.
That sheriff is NUTS!
How does the insanity argument jive with (a) the number of shots fired at the Judge; and (b) the position of the Judge on the ground as the shooter stood over him, shooting? These show conscious regard / intent.
Do you have a better strategy for the defense?
@ Plead guilty to avoid a trial and potentially the death penalty.
@ pleading guilty isn’t a defense. It’s an admission of guilt.
@@dondgc2298 you asked for a better strategy, not a better defense-
Imagine a sheriff is corrupt and a psychopath.
There are more criminals inside of law enforcement than there are outside of law enforcement. Our justice system promotes organizational disfunction.
The judge was messing around with the sheriff’s teenage daughter.
Gotcha
Why not. They're all cousins.
Ok, he has a bad day, and a spat with his wife, and we have sympathy for a guy who shoots a judge point blank eight times? Are you serious?
One little thing about this case that puzzles me. The idea that a deputy would need special training so he would know not to use his position of power to sexually assault a woman ... it takes special training to know not to do that? I don't know many people from Kentucky, but i would hope that a normal Kentucky person would already know not to do that without any special training.
Maybe like the state I live in Georgia Kentucky needs special help in that area.
Murder. Lock Him Up. Guilty!
BS! A family "spat" has nothing to do with the judge.....
It's murder.
Maybe what's more important is what is not being told?
This case is dp bizarre.
Daughter doesn't answer dad's call but answers the judges call ? Dad snapped!!!
Her dads was probably a abusive drunk as to why they are what they are in now
p-diddy didn't mean it either
What if a civilian had done the same thing to a police officer that he did to that judge?
They would also get arrested for murder lol what do you mean
The exact same thing.
He’s not exactly walking free now is he?
Cold blooded murder absolutely no excuse…straight to the death penalty.
Bravo.
He was mad because his daughter wouldn't talk to him but she was willing to talk to the judge.
LETS WAIT FOR THE FACTS to come out.
Now why should we do that...
Using the term breaking bread is like saying drop the soap 🤣
FILE FEDERAL CHARGES NOW , BEFORE THE WEIRDOS IN THAT COMMUNITY LET A MURDERER WALK FREE 🇺🇲⚖️
Exactly... what the hell is happening they don't seem to care that a judge was murdered in cold blood.
Judge was a creep.
It’s murder, lock him up, FOR LIFE
Murder is not the correct charge? Ok. It was an execution.
Sheriffs are held to a higher standard - should be able to handle stress and intense emotions - for God's sake, he's walking around with a gun!!
I live in Kentucky and have heard several times the reason was the judge was having a relationship with the sheriff's underage daughter.
Maybe it is the judge was helping the daughter and sheriffs wife to escape an abusive situation? Who knows the truth?
U heard pets were being eaten and you fell for that bs too eh? 😂
I was told when he looked at the judges phone he saw something related to his daughter. That caused him to flip
It doesn't matter
How did the Sheriff pick up the Judge's personal phone and manage to bypass his security code in order to make a call in the first place?
He probably forced the judge to enter the code at gun point
Murder
They probably went to the judge for help with a psycho in the house.
Why don't U listen it was nothing to do with the judge..all to do with the sheriff.
Where the hell is internal affairs at in this case??????
Like if we don't see psychotic police officers every day abuse citizens and exceeding their authority daily. How do you think they behave at home?
That Sheriff was dirty and angry!
Cold blooded murder
Yup
Agree
"DEFENSE: Kentucky sheriff in family spat before shooting judge- murder is the wrong charge...." Um, ok- what would you call it then defense? He purposely took that gun out of his holster and shot the poor man, not once, not twice, not three but it appears to be four times and murdered him in cold blood! When is it EVER ok to shoot not only a human being, but a judge at that, while he's SITTING there in a chair at a great disadvantage, unarmed, unthreatening and smoking a cigarette? Are you kidding? Lol, this man will NOT be acquitted.....
Its crazy that the judge had no self awareness when dealing with dangerous criminals
It was betrayal by a friend.
Sheriff appointed himself Judge, Juror, and Excutioner. Now deal with the consequences.
So he was jealous of the judge
His wife and daughter reffused to talk to him
Every time I look at that judge, I do not get a good feeling.
WHAT????? EXCUSE ME…
MURDER IS MURDER!!!!!!
I believe he planned it.
Is that a cig in the judges right hand? Smoking in a federal building is the crime😂
🤣🤣
The why, doesn’t matter. He’s not the judge, the jury or the executioner. He jump to conclusions and took this man down. Point blank range. Very sad.
Both judge & sherrif look creepy as F, could the judge have told him hed better play along or the wife & daughter would be kidnapped??!!
This man was controlling and didn’t want to lose it. He deserves to go to jail.
In the general population....😡
So you starting another false rumor will definitely help. Great job human
And you lived with him before? I’m curious how you know he’s controlling.
No mention of the statements he allegedly made about "they were trying to kidnap may wife and daughter".
All these explanations may be the reason it happened but its not a reason to shot a man...which the Sheriff did, the man is dead
Wasn't the judge helping the wife and daughter to escape the Sheriff who was abusive? There is no way he should have leniency.
Of course it’s murder … wtf …
