well, it is true, the USA was a colonial nation belonging to the English and everything it has come from outside the Americas (same thing with every other country in the Americas), just being modified a little
Well except for the indigenous, that statement is mostly true. And with all honesty indigenous food (Inuit for example) is not that tasty imo, lots of dried fish and beluga whale meat

The one thing I love as being an American (specifically Colorado) that I can say over most Europeans is that authentic Mexican food is heavenly.
Sidenote, true soul food is also really good. Only reason I think I'd go to the South.
@@lovelylavenderr Not sure if you’ve been but you should head to New Orleans, they have a style of cooking different from anywhere in the country because their culture is Dixie + African American + French so its an interesting place to visit!

Greek food is mainly 3 things
Fuck tons of fish food
BBQs (not like the American ones) every Sunday after church
And salads with different types of olives and dairy products

Eastern Europe is such a bad classification and he didn't even bother researching it. Here in Estonia, what some people still consider eastern but is northern, we do eat a lot of potatoes but also beef, some German food like blood sausage and the sour cabbage thing, quite a bit of fish and some other stuff I can't really remember.

Chinese food being spicy seems a little odd in my opinion. Most of the Chinese food I have eaten tended to be sweet or salty. Perhaps its because there are different regional cuisines. Most of what seems to be authentic Chinese food are sweet and salty in my area
Northern cuisines tend to be a bit saltier and southern cuisine tends to be sweeter. Spicy dishes come generally from Sichuan and Hunan province.
When I think Eastern European, I think of a Polish pancake thing filled with cream cheese.
I don’t know it’s name, I couldn’t pronounce it at the time, but I want to what it is.
