Sir testing kits answer should be 700.
1000/5=200 sets or groups of 5 person each in one group. 100 person were positive, so if we give 100 positive person one each in 100 group: test required=100+(5×100) (as their group will test positive so they will be tested separately )=100+500=600
And remaining 100 groups negative results=100 tests.
So total tests=600+100=700. Hence total kits required=700

You are saying 100 COVID positive and distributed in 100 sets means that 100 also included in that set so 100*5= 500 kit + 100 for negative
Total kit 600
If i am wrong pls correct me why u took 100+(5*100)

In first set of testing they were used 200 kits. Then 100 people are positive. Maximum probability is 100/200. That means 100 of 200 sets give positive result. Then we need to test 5*100= 500 samples. So the answer will be 500+200= 700

As far as I remember there was a sentence that out of all the creatures the planet is populated by animals and all the animals are ferocious.
That means there were other creatures also like insects which are not animals but they may have claws and are ferocious

The phrase "populated by animals" doesn't mean that all were animals there but it actually means most of them were animals. That means there were other species also which were not animals. You never know, they also have claws and can be ferocious.
This proves uncertainty in your chosen option. FYI: The question clearly mentioned 'certainty' word in it.

I feel the question about students watching movies should have been more specific... It would have been convenient if they had used the words like 'only romantic movies' or 'total no. of students watching romantic movies' as in both these cases the answer is going to differ. Nevertheless, I have also marked 60 as the answer. Lets wait for the answer key.

2. The 5 sample were mixed together and then tested

Let us assume among the 200 groups 100 groups contains 1 positive person when i test those 100 groups luckily i test all negative persons. So i need not to test the other persons in this 100 groups. After this i test other 100 groups in which all are negative so only j need to test 100 person 1 from each group. So answer is 200
