- Monday 8th February 2021 : Grab a snack, let's color the cake page in my new book, Worlds of Wonder! I used Arteza pencils and a sneaky bit of Derwent blender pen.

Hurray for reruns! I’m a retired special education teacher and I had to take an art class in university. My professor had a PhD in Fine Art, and many of the students in my class were on track for that degree also. I’m a klutz with art because I never had an art class growing up. I felt like I had been dropped on an alien planet, and I didn’t fare well. It was my only 2.0 in an otherwise 4.0 GPA. That man made me feel so inadequate and stupid. My work was never perfect enough, and he showed no mercy. I never wanted to take another art class ever. So I turned to thread and yarn crafts. Now, 46 years later, I found your videos. Oh how I wish I had a teacher like you back then! I’m learning so much, and I can’t tell you how much I appreciate you! I’ve got World of Flowers coming this week; and I’ll get your new book in just a few weeks!

Good morning Johanna from New York, USA. I like watching your videos, and can I say that you look like a Spring Flower with a wonderful smile in your videos. I think you get hungry due to coloring food and those lemons looked like grapefruits because of what the insides look like. Lol!! And it is funny to hear about when you take your kids to the grocery store, and I think all kids are like that when they say, "Your eyes are bigger then your stomach" especially when you go to the grocery store and wanting everything you see there. Lol!! I do love watching you draw and color your cute and amazing pictures. Can't wait to see the next one. God bless you and your family.

Two things - My son couldn't say creepy when he was little, so he said "keepy". Now we all say "keepy". Also, as a former collector of "classic" Early American Pressed Glass, classic cake stands can be a glorious bouquet of iridescent chaos. I am really tempted to get out my fountain pen inks and use some of the shading and shimmering inks on some of your designs. I would have to use a really fine brush to control the amount of ink I'm laying down.
“Toddler Speak” is the cutest, isn’t it! My grandson can’t pronounce r’s yet; so we have flogs instead of frogs and bled instead of bread. He also lisps so any s comes out as th. “Nana, you tho thilly!” I’m going to miss this when he grows a little more. 🥰

I love your books, but I can't colour most of the illustrations. I'm visually impaired and the very small details cause my eyes to water.
Do you have access to a printer/scanner? You can pick out a page you want to color, scan it in to your computer, enlarge the individual elements to the size you need, and print it out. I know it’s not the same as coloring in the book, but if you print the drawings on similar paper, your pages would be beautiful.
