The mid chain bash with the macuahitl is feint-able, the finisher and the dash forward bash both aren’t. You’ll find everyone dodges the mid chain bash, feint into guard break (unless they dodge attack of course, go for the parry)
Mistyyy I see you throw out the mid chain bash a lot. If they dodging it a lot zone after you whiff the bash, if they dodge attack and they try to chain you’ll trade w them
I think if you whiff an option and your opponent tries a dodge attack, you can zone and the armor usually kicks in in time for the dodge attack to hit. Basically, attack>opponent dodge attacks>chain into zone>opponent hits armor>you hit them I think it’s consistent if you’re looking for dodge attacks, but a little hard to react in this situation. Totally useless against characters with bashes, obviously.
Additionally, I think using the zone like this in a 1v1 is super oppressive. You steal your turn back every time. If you do light>bash chain, the light will catch if they try to dodge, and if they try to do a dodge attack after bash, you can zone. I don’t know if you can react to red and zone, or if it’s a read. Not sure about the timing on that. But it feels very satisfying to do it right.
what's so fast ? you 'play' this bull mentally meant for 3 years old (if allowed) ? in real fight one smash with such sword across face or back would be your final, yet you jump around like if nothing happened ! in real fight to death you have one max two chances to beat your opponent first, then you get hurt and you are lucky if you survive - means opponent is hurt/disabled more

Obviously the counterplay is “dodge and do nothing” but Ocelotl can feint his zone, so you’re really safe in this situation.
