I know this is probably too old, but I connect mine and then it goes green and immediatelly goes red. It goes green and show me the current firmware but then go to red. Any Ideas of what I am doing wrong? It does the same when I try to update my Sbus, goes green for 2 sec shows the version and then red.
You need the Acuvance Update Device Kit (OP-15064). Version 2 is the latest version and you can find it on my shop here: rcpace.com/acuvance-update-device-kit-ii.html

@@slothpoo Yes, for Xarvis XX the S Bus adaptor will also need updating, so you will also need the conversion cable (OP-15095) - rcpace.com/acuvance-s-bus-adaptor-update-conversion-cable.html
Have tried this way several times with 2 different computer but I don't the window that says Windows can't verity the publisher of this software.... What am I doing wrong???
Have you done the advanced restart and pressed #7? If so do it again, go to the Acuvance installation folder and into the driver's folder. There is an x64 for 64 bit windows or x86 for 32 bit windows and the driver's can be selected from in there or device manager to get the prompt window.
It did take some time to work out the steps but there are Japanese instructions available to do this I think - but I never saw them before I had to learn how to do this many years ago!
im having a consistent issue with a corrupted file when installing the software, when i attempt to press the "ESC" button it closes my application, in event viewer it shows that it was due to a corrupt file. Ive tried reinstalling it over and over again and have gotten the error every time (both US and JP sites), do you have any suggestions on how to fix this issue?
I would try downloading the install file, and the update files on another computer and try again. It's not something I have experienced before so I can only suggest try downloading somewhere else, and if that doesn't work try using another computer.

No, but make sure the drivers are installed and that the cable is not damaged.

I was having the same problem but after my 4th attempt following these steps, I got mines working as well.

You need Acuvance update kit ii to connect the ESC to the pc.

@@jrmayun TAO 3 can be updated without update kit. USB connection from PC to TAO 3 and using the Acuvance software
