SUP is short for SUPER..Super Dave is a Texas Boy from San Antonio area. He plays with Short Porch and Crush. Sup is a GREAT and very helpful guy when it comes to hitting. I have played with and against Sup since the late 80's. Sup is VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE when it comes to bats. HIT HIM UP !!!! He is on You Tube .....SHORT PORCH CUTTING EDGE...
I use the recent red, white and blue no name onyx bat, my favorite since my og Dudley. This bat seems very similar to the onyx, your thoughts? I'm a medium to softer bat guy. It would be nice if you added handle and end weight info along with the compression info. I've found I'm more consistent with the 😢heavier end weight. My onyx 27oz is 18.2 on the barrel, most 27 el bats seem to be 17-17.5 I think weight distribution for most is just as important as barrel hardness when purchasing a $200+ bat. Thanks for the reviews guys!
Good stuff. I don’t do it simply because I don’t know how to accurately measure those numbers. I’ve seen 26 oz bats weigh 16.1 on the end and 8.2 on the hands. My math tells me that 24.3oz. Where’s the other 1.7? I’ve learned most companies can shift the balance points to make a bat feel heavier or lighter on the end. Also. Most of my reviewed bats are 28oz. So the weights at the hands and end would vary tremendously compared to the same version in a 25 or 26 oz
I don't disagree with the weighing issue, perhaps the most important thing would be just being consistent and weighing them all the same way? Much appreciated regardless. Thanks again. @@Bigchefsoftball
I just bought this bat but haven't gotten out there yet to swing it . I knew before you swung the bat you would have an issue with the "softer" barrel . The more whip there is in a bat the less likely a big man like with your fast aggressive swing will like it . That said - we all adept and it took you less than 20 swings for you to launch balls over the lights . Velocity of ball exit speed is in my opinion is often over valued . Example being every video of a bat reviewer I've seen usually shows grounder balls hitting 90 plus - often over 95 mph .And Yet a f-ing bomb gets hit into the next county and the exit velo was only 88 mph .. How often have you or your buddy hits 350 foot balls that were over 100 mph and yet you probably hit grounders over 100 . It is extremely rare I see you tube bat reviewers hitting long homers over 100 mph . Its all about being comfortable with your bat -but you were crushing bombs with it .

Hey Chef what is the STIFFEST barrel Senior bat out that you have swung? I purchased the Hitman and it’s too soft for me. Thanks
So far. The anonymous inception and the ikonic Mack are 2 of the stiffest that performs that I
Like
Did that one peel off from the paint on you all?
Ours did not
