@@DarenBavister Thanks for the comment Daren. This one little sentence is so powerful and it can truly get you thinking. Go out, be brave and do something new!
Mike, Sadly after purchasing our T5 camper, my wife's early onset dementia took a turn for the worse and she is now in residential care - my fear is to overcome getting out and doing some solo travelling in Pip (our van). Your video was inspiring for two reasons, The message of facing your fear and just doing it and secondly I've watched a lot of videos about van life but it's good to find someone who is doing it solo - thanks for that, subscribed and I look forward to following your travels.
@@Gorutmk Hey Andy, thank you for your comment and I am sorry to hear about your wife’s dementia my friend. My advice on the getting out bit, find a place, not too far, grab a beer and go and make yourself burger in Pip. It will do you the world of good. Take care Mike
@@Van-Ished Hi Mike, thanks for the message. I did get away. I've just returned from a 4 night trip round parts of Lincolnshire. Didn't manage a burger, but I did enjoy a nice piece of steak cooked in the Ridgemonkey. And a nice pint of draught Austrian lager at Delph Bank Touring Park. Stayed on some great sites.....
Really well said. You are absolutely spot on. Get comfortable with the uncomfortable ... It's.scary putting yourself out there but you sound more and more natural in every video so you are doing something right. Well done and keep up the excellent work.
@@garethpetley6715 thanks Gareth, much appreciated. While that was difficult to do and say to camera, the amount of support has been overwhelming. Thanks for the Sub!
That was crap! LOL! I jest. I am in a similar situation. I have a rudimentary script and always forget part of it. You performed an impressive and enviably long monologue, there, without screwing up. I hide the camera when other people are around. But I’m getting better (I think?). I still use iMovie which I find is more than sufficient for me. My challenge is to walk a different neighbourhood of my city every week until I’ve done all 200+!
“Just do it” a great phrase, think that might catch on. “When was the last time you did something for the 1st time?” ❤ this!

Truly inspiring Mike. Bloody well done 👍👏👏👏 Keep going. Love your videos. ❤

Thanks for watching.

Hey Mike, good advice thanks, a beer, a burger and trip out locally in Pip sounds like a plan….
@@GorutmkHey Andy, for some reason your message popped into my head during my last trip away. Have you managed to get out and have that burger yet?
