I've noticed the pattern of when Glory puts something new in her mouth, she immediately freezes and leans towards Matty 😂 Before I even realized what Soondae was I was "No FREAKING way". Ain't no way lol. Matty's reaction was the closest to a Glory reaction I've ever seen hahahaha. Honestly, I think if it was a tighter texture and didn't look like worms the vomit factor wouldn't have been so high 😅 Glory looking like a hooked fish when she popped it in her mouth 🎣 Great video as always 👏🏻❤

In Puerto Rico we have blood sausage called Morcilla usually stuffed with rice and seasoned ground meat. It's on the spicy side but very good.

That’s so cool! Chicken feet is also popular in Oaxaca, Mexico too. We eat it in caldo and it’s really good. It’s filled with collagen too.

I'm Korean and I love Soondae 😆 The texture always threw me off. I never knew what it was growing up, I just ate it cuz my parents ate it! It looks gross but its so bomb 😋💗 Matt’s reaction was hilarious and then Glory’s reaction killed me 🤣💀

I agree - I'm half Korean and I've eaten soondae a few times. I also never knew what was lol. It's honestly not bad btw you are supposed to dip the soondae in the pink salt. It's better that way!

Too funny! When Matt tried the chicken feet and said that there was no meat, I knew right away that it must be chicken feet. When I saw the soondae, I knew nobody was going to eat that. I'm surprised Glory didn't eat any of these foods growing up. It would be interesting to know if her parents like or have eaten any of these dishes. Right! I call bs. Glory’s parents can barely speak english so im sure she was very exposed to korean food as a kid. She is so dramatic 🙄 also kinda disrespectful. I have tasted or eaten something i dont like/know. U know what I did, calmly chew the food, and if i didnt like it I spit it out in a nakpin. These two are always sooo over the top whenever they taste food, its not becoming borderline disrespectful 🙄🙄🙄
We eat the blood sausage in Portugal as well, it has rice inside as well, very yummy
Hello from Puerto Rico! We also eat Blood Sausage, but in Spanish we call it Morcillas. In our case it is filled with rice, it can be spicy and it is mostly eaten around Christmas. I always tried it, but don’t find them that tasty, but wouldn’t say they are bad. If you ever get to eat them, do it, it is not as bad as it sounds… 👍🏻❤❤

Regular sausage, made with natural casings, is also intestine, stuffed with meat and stuff. The inside part of the sausage isn't typically intestines.
French andouille is intestines stuffed inside intestines. But Korean blood sausage is stuffed with japchae, sweet potato starch noodles, and is very mild.
Her suspended animation when chewing the Sundae had me weak AF! 😂😂 This episode is up there with the silkworm one. Her reaction was my all time favorite.
It's "wormy" like that because it's made like hamburger meat or sausage. I knew the chicken feet right off the bat. I was like look at those paws. Mainly supposed to suck those. As for the escargot... No. ...😂

I love your videos, they're always funny, but I'm not going to lie this video was kind of offensive. I as a Korean myself love Soondae, Dakbal, and golbaengi. I think that there was a more respectful way of showing dislike for certain foods. Maybe having one of your parents there Glory to explain what the food item is would've helped you both know what the food is and the culture behind it.

Yeah, especially when Glory didn't explain that the "worms" in soondae are actually just noodles, not intestines. Her shout out to Koreans made me assume that she had eaten soondae before, but apparently not. Many cultures have some form of blood pudding or sausage, and it's always surprising that lots of people don't realize that the casing for sausage is intestines. I understand that snails and chicken feet can be off-putting, but noodles in a sausage? Come on.
Also, spitting out food is considered disrespectful. I like Glory and Matt and I like that Matt is open to trying Korean food, but maybe trying new food (especially in a Fear Factor sort of manner) isn't a great idea for TH-cam content if they're just going to spit everything out on camera.
And even if they were "respectful" yall would still be mad🙄

Ok I have had soondae before and I liked it. Chicken feet probably should be as soon as they are made. The snails looked like a chicken livers to me so I could eat it. I grew up liking and eating different things because my parents are from the south and some of these things are part of black culture too. I have also been to Korea twice. Thanks guys for another fun video. I think it would be so funny if you did a video like this with some of your fans😁
In Belize we have blood sausage called Morsilla! It is delicious when fried with scrambled eggs. Typically for breakfast or dinner.

The "worms" are not the intestines, they are likely glass noodles. The intestine part is the sausage casing, very common.

All sausage is made by putting the meat in a casing. The casing is traditionally animal intestines. They have synthetic ones in the US though. The “worm” look is because the meat wasn’t ground up very fine before stuffed into the casing.
Blood sausage where I'm from are called morcilla, and most often spicy and we usually pan fry it and eat it with some kind of sauce and toasted bread or as a side to a rice dish. Although not a fan of chicken feet you kinda eat it like wings scraping of the edible part from the bone, as for snails never tried them, but open too, I imagine the texture is prob like chicken gizards.

Soondae is fairly popular in other countries also. Either made stuffed with bread or rice and spices it one of my favourites, top it with a tangy hot sauce and you’re good to go
