This is what makes great unique memorable actors, it’s their personal understanding of the characters they play and their approach. It’s the freedom to let themselves be and not be controlled and married to what they think they should say or do. Just react and do.
I think another great advice is something Alan Rickman said. That it's about listening and reacting to what you heard instead of trying to force a reaction that will ultimately end up being inappropriate.
I’m 14 and I have learned a lot from you I’m going to get a headshot and try to get in Abrams Artists Agency wish me luck :DD Any tips to talking with an adult agent? Lol I’m still not sure what to say to them.
I really want to get into acting, preferably paid (aka doing movies) but I live in an area where theres not a lot of attention. I dont live in a city, and my community college doesn't offer programs. The closest is 45 minutes away that offers drama classes. And there are theatres nearby..any tips for wannabe a actor?
I think he is saying that when the camera is close up to your face while you are talking to another character, it is not good to let your eyes jump from the left eye to the right eye of that other character. We will see a close up of your eyes jumping from side to side, and it will seem like you are self-conscious or shy or not honestly holding a conversation, because you aren't keeping a steady gaze toward that person.
@@craig2493 yeah, I know, I know. But, he says something like: “if I looking you with this eye into your other eye. You've lost me. If I looking you with this eye into that eye, this eye is in the camera…” is on this part of the video: 0:30 So, what I suppose to do? Do I have to keep one eye in the camera? I don't understand that. 😅 I understood this: if I have another actor in front of me, and the camera It's on my right side. And if I look his right eye with my right eye “it's not good”. So, I must to look his left eye with my left eye, so that my other eye is on the camera. That i understood. You know what I mean? 😂😅
Wish I had the extra money right now to pay for the course but due to some issues I won’t have it until the 31st this month hopefully I can do it cause with the last words my uncle told me before he died this past Tuesday I’m going for my dream and future career of one day being a very successful actor. Thanks for this TH-cam channel and for all the advice and lessons you give

i think the best advice is the Jonny depp speech. literally made me cry
I love the attitude Depp had even at such a young age. Wisdom that has truly withstood the test of time.
I love how so many people clicked for Johnny, it's okay me too😂
