64 years old and the first time I realized how a groupie feels. I believe Angelina is not only a remarkable performer but an amazing human being. I have to have my daily fix of Angelina.
When James Brown sang this song, he put every ounce of energy he had in the performance. He sometimes had to be helped off the stage at the end & was out of breath sweating profusely . Angelina just stands there, swaying back & forth like it's nothing, yet the vocals are blasting out with total control. When she's done, she gives us her standard curtsy & a thank you. She's not sweating or out of breath, just another day at the office. This was the last song of the 16 song album release concert for her 1st album, "It's Magic."

I don;t know if you know, she performed for Quincy Jones at his 85th birthday party at the 02 arena in London for 20,000 where stars gathered to play his work. She opened the concert with Fly Me to the Moon. Her rehersal video is available if you search for it. She was 12 years old. I envy you for the discoveries you still have ahead of you. You may think you know her sound but she will surprise and amaze you many times. Angelina can sing any genre she chooses and no song is too big or "untouchable" for her to master. We are talking about taking on a standard by 'The Godfather Of Soul', Mr. James Brown. How good is it, especially with regard to the heights she reaches vocally...and effortlessly? Had she performed this at The Apollo Theater in Harlem, NY, which is the home of the toughest soul critics on the planet, Angelina would have received a standing ovation and I never remember a white artist ever receiving one, going way back to the 60's. Had Janis Joplin appeared there, but she didn't, I could see her getting a standing ovation for her soul singing ability, but no other white singer comes to mind who would have been honored by the audience in this way.

II has been said that Angelina always holds back in rehearsals ,so he had heard her prior to this performance in rehearsal but she must have held back on the ending and blew them all away with that epic ending That is what she does , explodes in performances with something not heard prior. Angelina Jordan is the most talented person I have encountered in my 74 years of experiencing great music. From 6 to almost 16, she has been amazing people with her unbelievable talent. As of Dec 2021; her social media presence is equally impressive as she’s racked up over a billion TH-cam views, and 2.5 billion Facebook views, and has garnered praise from Time, CNN, BBC, and People. She has now done the song “Mercy” in the soundtrack of “Hating Game Movie” that just came out. There is just no end to this girl’s versatility.

She's unbelievable! I understand what you were saying about seeing her in an intimate audience setting. I definitely agree. But, when she performs at a sold out Arena she will not be drowned out by a screaming audience. Instead, they will listen to every word and feel her love touching their hearts and only scream with delight after the song is over. Can you possibly imagine the love in the building wherever she sings?
Her and her family have control of the record deal. The label IS NOT able to promote her with out Angelina's permission. But once she is ready she will sit upon throne, its her birthright.
Angelina singing Summertime with the entire KORK Orchestra is a must see. Everyone can put that tune away, because it will never be done better than that. Angelina took that one too. :D

I got in right from the ground floor. Angelina singing "Fly Me to the Moon, closely followed by - wait for it - Gloomy Sunday" Yes, THAT Gloomy Sunday. AND she was BRILLIANT! Took my heart out of my chest with her tiny little hands and kept it ever since. Angelina is a wondrously amazing girl. She even sings in Japanese if she wants to. Oh Yeah. :)

I don;t know if you know, she performed for Quincy Jones at his 85th birthday party at the 02 arena in London for 20,000 where stars gathered to play his work. She opened the concert with Fly Me to the Moon. Her rehersal video is available if you search for it. She was 12 years old. Quincy was quoted saying something like “she’s most talented artist since Michael Jackson.” Check out her most recent release of My Funny Valentine Feb 2022. She is 16

I've been following you for a while. Love the fact that you have had the opporbtunity to get on the Angelina rabbit hole. She's amazing and I as an angel follower, thank you. If I could get the rest of the world to listen to this incredible talent and expose her to the world I would. I'm 64 years old, but, I love music and talent. And angelina is the bomb.
I envy you for the discoveries you still have ahead of you. You may think you know her sound but she will surprise and amaze you many times. Angelina can sing any genre she chooses and no song is too big or "untouchable" for her to master. You will discover that many of her home video covers were first takes, chosen at random with her guitarist right before the recording, with no practice. She is that good. Angelina's parents gave her a great gift by reducing the likelihood of her being "plastered all over" social media and other media, so that she could grow up without being harassed by paparazzi, sharks, snakes, and goons etcetera... She may still get lost in the music industry as a young adult, but she'll have a much better chance of staying healthy and bringing us unmatched musical beauty for a long time. love your reaction for our Barefoot Princes ( now at 16 is elevated tp Queen) of Song. Notice the surprise of the conductor at the end as he turns to look at her. II has been said that Angelina always holds back in rehearsals ,so he had heard her prior to this performance in rehearsal but she must have held back on the ending and blew them all away with that epic ending That is what she does , explodes in performances with something not heard prior. Thanks for that reaction she deserves it.

Angelina Jordan is the most talented person I have encountered in my 74 years of experiencing great music. From 6 to almost 16, she has been amazing people with her unbelievable talent. As of Dec 2021; her social media presence is equally impressive as she’s racked up over a billion TH-cam views, and 2.5 billion Facebook views, and has garnered praise from Time, CNN, BBC, and People. She has now done the song “Mercy” in the soundtrack of “Hating Game Movie” that just came out.

How can she take an original song that was a great hit and make it so much better than it was ever performed in the past? She is a talent that is so great and unlike anything we have ever experienced. I have experienced all the greats in my 74 years, but none come close to Angelina Jordan.
She's unbelievable! I understand what you were saying about seeing her in an intimate audience setting. I definitely agree. But, when she performs at a sold out Arena she will not be drowned out by a screaming audience. Instead, they will listen to every word and feel her love touching their hearts and only scream with delight after the song is over.
Can you possibly imagine the love in the building wherever she sings?

Her and her family have control of the record deal. The label IS NOT able to promote her with out Angelina's permission. But once she is ready she will sit upon throne, its her birthright.
