Clearly some people aren’t taking this election well, the media has painted a picture that people are going to be oppressed and some people are spreading cruel comments for people who voted differently. If this doesn’t show you that the U.S has a problem I don’t know what will. We will never be able to live in a utopia, it’s simply impossible due to human nature. Those who are adults, it’s okay to feel emotional about this but the tantrums are too much. Instead of raging we should use this time to calm down and really think through this. We should try to get along again. Yes I understand this won’t reach everyone’s hearts, they can think of themselves as morally superior but people who are truly good will be humble, peaceful, and will listen. Seriously, have you ever stopped and thought about the difference between someone doing good deeds vs someone who constantly has their way? I’m sure it’s a universal feeling that all humans feel good when they help someone else. Meanwhile people who have it all and get their way still manage to be unhappy. We should start being tolerant to one another and not force any ideas on anyone, let’s just enjoy the company of one another. Instead of seeing the other side as villains that have been brainwashed, let’s actually talk and listen instead of yelling at each other. Let’s not put labels on others and make assumptions about them, we should just appreciate each person as they are. We shouldn’t let an election ruin friendships and families, in the end we’re all humans worthy of love. Call me cheesy but in the end, love heals all and that’s truly what we need in these times. I just want to do my part and hope this can start the change for one person. Man I feel like the Lorax, fighting for a hopeless cause, but that seed was enough for a small start so maybe this song can be that too. I hope it can open the minds of many or at least make you guys think about important matters for a bit. As always thanks for watching :)
