I've made my new granddaughter about 6+ hats since she was born 18 months ago. When I made the watermelon print hat, my DIL finally commented and said she wanted one to match it. 😊 By the way, my granddaughter, who I babysit, watches me crochet, and I now have to give her a small ball of yarn, and a fat plastic hook, so she can "crochet" with me. So fun to watch her trying. I think by the time she's 3 or 4 she willl be crocheting beside me. The cotton blanket I made her that she was old enough to understand was going to be hers, is her favorite blanket. She takes it everywhere she goes. Warms my heart. ❤
The first thing I thought of when I saw this yarn today is the slipper socks that Mama Llama Kayla makes! 🥰 Thanks for playing with this yarn. It's really fun.

I really appreciate you showing how these yarns look in both knit and crochet. I got the Premiere Blooms (?) and was really disappointed that my project didn't turn out like the picture on the label. Later realizing the design happens only when knitting. I'll save that yarn for my loom knits!
try this battery hack - when the battery is saying its flat, put it in a plastic bag in the freezer for a few hours, then fully recharge it again.. that has worked on old phone batteries for me before (not sure if the camera ones use the same type of insides though - but it won't hurt them, even if it doesn't help)
@@CinnamonStitches I'm getting better, have been struggling with my mental health, so have been quietly stalking 😉 .. my town is still recovering from the massive floods we had last year, and I've been volunteering with a recovery group (we were running a craft donations shop, so people could come in and replace lost crafting items and supplies) 🙂

I love the fruit stripe yarns, they had a sale a while back, and I just had to buy some. I’m knitting hats out of them. I might knit a pair of worsted weight socks for wearing inside in the winter, then I could just look down at my feet and see the watermelon colors.
Thank you for this because I bought the dragon fruit color and I tried several different things and nothing was coming out right, the colors just were not flowing together. I will try the single crochet stitch with it. You gave great ideas to do hats or the little head pieces which I seem to always need something to hold my hair up.

Single crochet works with the bloom yarn, much like this fruit yarn. Its not the exact same, but its close.

I crocheted a single crochet vest out of bloom yarn. I believe you can make something similar with the fruit yarn knitted or single crochet.

They are prescription glasses and i got them at walmart. They are way too big though
