glad to see your doing well and touring, hopefully in the US, can't wait for the movie of your life to come out. But I have a little problem, you said any bass player that uses a pick is a fustrated guitar player, would you really say that to Sir Paul McCartney? One of the great bass player?
Yeah, and Paul was kinda forced to be the bass player from being the third guitar player in the Beatles, so a frustrated guitar player, at least initially until he got to appreciate being the bassist.
Hey! I am 15 too, and i'd like to share some tips i picked up from lessons and my own experience so far. Look up bass lessons for music theory. The channel "TalkingBass" is a good source of information. Check out the major and minor scales as well as arpeggios, and learn musical distances. Then, when you learn songs, take your time to notice how the bassist utilized the scales and distances to make their bass lines. This will all make sense when you watch the lessons. *Make sure you don't spend a lot of your time learning to play scales at high speeds.* That's not the point of learning scales. It's a waste of time and it's boring. You should also work on your repertoire. Learn many songs in many genres, even if you don't particularly enjoy them. Also check out other bassists. Suzi Quatro is great, sure, but there are still much better bassists, such as: Les Claypool, Victor Wooten, Mark King, Flea, John Patitucci, Jaco Pastorius... It is important to keep motivated, otherwise you'll stop playing in a few months. Good luck, and more importantly, have fun.
Suzi is simply amazing!

The "Eddie Van Halen" of the bass guitar. She is absolutely brilliant as a singer and bass guitarist. I'd love to hear her on the drums

I'll bet she WOULD say that, and if Sir Paul had any sense, he'd reply "Yes, ma'am"... Besides, she didn't say "bad," just "frustrated"...
