The THX logo kinda sounds like the one from the Lucasfilm LTD version on DVD’s. Have you seen the opening to the Japanese DTS Laserdisc for this release? It has a very similar opening but with Japanese Warnings and the title before the movie begins

And uh, thanks for the information on the analog track, that actually helps solve a rumor that the pitch on the DTS track was on the analog one as well.

On the DTS soundtrack, that is. There are lots more DTS LaserDiscs with this pitch, as well as some AC-3 LaserDiscs that have it as well.

Actually, it sounds slightly different. The sound used here was on a few DVD’s without the Lucasfilm byline lol. It almost sounds out of tune

It's actually the digital track run through an audio converter, the analog track has the usual THX pitch.
