What was the finish like on the edges of the vinyl mate? Also, what is the adhesion like on the textured bit of plastic near the knees? It looks great in your images, but it's hard to tell from the video for sure. I have the 17 model too, and probably wont put all the stickers on, such as the panniers and screen too. Well done, looked tedious.
@@Defender3d very good quality decals Tim, edges are clean and tidy. Excuse the French but they stick like shit to a blanket! I wondered myself if it would stick properly on the part you mentioned. You only get one attempt at getting it straight, it sticks that well that it would break if you had to pull it off to adjust the position.

Nice job,, I know how difficult it can be having wrapped a few cars and vans in my time! Obviously helped by what looked like a good fit of the cut vinyl. Its the one thing that has put me off KTM's is there paint schemes, but those graphics look good, probably of an age where i can do without the 'ready to race' and 'ride it like you stole it' tag lines!
Cheers! Yeah wrapping is much more difficult when not cut to size. Hats off to the poor sod that cut all these to size, must have been a nightmare. I'm not really into loud colour schemes, but I like this look very much.....happy days!

Quick Q.: once on it's on there's no do over? Or is it a bit like working with the wrap?
It's easier than wrap, but you do have to get it right first time, as there is no pulling it off once it's down....sticks like shit to a blanket!

Next time please PLEASE use padded card bubble remover! Entire video was so difficult to watch, so many bubbles and you would most definitely damage the vinyl if you would try to take them out with unpadded one! Other ways good work for the first timer! ;)

No I left mine on! No real need to remove them, and tbh the original decals on the rear of the bike have clear lacker over them anyway🤷♂️

would be nice to throw a 2K clear on it but i guess then you cant take them out :D but you can polish them. By the way back box runes the whole racer look.

Great job on the install. This design is too busy for my taste.
My graphics kit for the Ktm 690 enduro @ £163 needs me to pay UPS £47.69 customs and brokerage fees before or on delivery.

You must tint windows for a living lol jk very good job. What is you tip on installing tank pads?
Definitely use masking tape to make sure it's in the right place. You only get one chance at installing each one, as they are very sticky! Once it's on there's no getting it back off to adjust, without wrecking it.
Also try not to stretch them on the install, like you would do with vinyl. Just lay it on like you would do a sticker.
5:10 Those holes don't line up to good. Partly what I'm concerned about with a graphics kit from MPW as their kit isn't cheap.
They line up fine, probably an error on my part that I pulled it too much

Hey Sean, just ordered the limited black-orange stickers for my GT. I wonder how long does it take to send em here to Germany ?! When installed, we could meet and take some photos together, i am from Bünde ;) By the way, very nice video, thx for sharing :)
It took 3 to 4 weeks for mine, but only because they had many orders. You're from Bünde, where did you buy your bike
Hi, it is a 2017 gt, a dutch "grey" one. I bought it in 2018 from an internet dealer called Motorrad Direkt from 36289 Friedewald, near Kassel. It was very cheap, less than 13.000,- because soon after the gt 2.0 came out. For service i brought it to Bolte and they gave me normal german service documents without discussion, and i have the full 2 years guarantee. So everything is fine.

No I left them on, no real need to take them off. The original graphics on the tail have clear paint over them anyway. Unfortunately these new graphics are also gone, but make make room for new ones!😜 video of the new look coming soon👍🤪

do you do a lower decal for the panniers? to cover the terribly easy to mark matt black plastic finish?
There's definitely uppers, but I did have a couple left over and I've no idea where they go. Looked a photo online, and looks like there's only upper decals for the panniers.
You'll be sick of it in no time....
How long did it take to come??
It took 2 weeks are so, although I think due to the Corona situation it could be up to 4 weeks delivery time.

Any company that do vinyl wrapping will be able to install it for you. Give Google a shout to see if there's any in your area.

Great job!! But you are used to that attention to detail....just seems one hell of a faff to me! You should do a proper 'walk around' of the finished job! Not sure to be honest, I'm a less is more kind of a guy, but luckily we are not all the same......Incidentally, there is no K in Hus Ka vana its just Huskvana well, that's what Google says....so it must be true :-)
