    Awesome review👍🤓👍. Everyone needs to start somewhere.we need to encourage new detectorists to keep with the hobby and grow as you go👍.
    The best detector for someone I think, is one that they understand and feel comfortable using.
    Happy hunting y'all, get out there and find that treasure everyone

    You found some good stuff with that quest machine. I've always recommended that machine to people when they've asked for a beginners machine. I've had so many good things about it. Thanks for sharing buddy. Take care.

      cheers Craig 👍. yeh, it's a good little machine. you can even download the quest app to your phone and sync with the machine. keep log of your finds and track where you've been. does more than people think. 🙂👍

      cheers PJ bro. yeah it's a good machine and in the right price bracket for a new detectorist.
      but like with all machines, you have to walk over it. if its quiet land, you won't find much lol

    Don't leave it in your kitchen mate....you'll never find it again!hehehe Great little review & seems like a very decent bit of kit Jas. I met a lovely couple on a Group Dig last year, they both had Q30's and found a few silvers between them....so they obviously do the business! Enoyable as ever my nobber!

    Graig from Griffinds recommended the quest series as a beginner detectorist, and I went for the X10. For the money, it's been great. I'll be looking to update at some point, so may consider this. Thanks for the review, and well done on the finds. Mick

    Ancient people through the ages also used holed coins to nail them to a door or wall. This ritual is to praise the ruler or the God illustrated on them or in hope of gaining protection from the ruler or ancient god.

    I think that Vicky penny is one of the pure copper coins before they changed to bronze. In very good order for a copper coin.

    Only ever owned 4 or 5 detectors but i would call the Nokta Makro Simplex MARMITE. The biggest pile of chattering shite i ever bought and sent it straight back within a week and bought the Quest 30 which is a miles better detector, for me anyways but i remember reading the reviews back then after i'd purchased the Nokta and everyone said the same thing....Chattering piece of crap. I also remember selling sites were flooded with those marmite chattering pieces of shite.

    • @TheDarkKnightDetectorist
      @TheDarkKnightDetectorist  ปีที่แล้ว

      I find the quest works better on 3 tone. if I use 4 tone I fond it to be quite chattery. People laugh about tje build quality of the quest but I don't think it's that bad 👍

    What's the numbers mean ?

    • @TheDarkKnightDetectorist
      @TheDarkKnightDetectorist  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      they give you an indication to what the target could be. the .ore you use a machine and learn it, you get an idea of what the target is by the tones and numbers 👍

    Nothing wrong with a magnetic charge cord attachment but in all fairness screwing on a charger cord correctly isn't rocket science.

    • @TheDarkKnightDetectorist
      @TheDarkKnightDetectorist  ปีที่แล้ว

      you'd think not, but I've seen the mishaps lol. if it was a straight push in and tighten up like the coil on a nox or the quest, it would be fine. but on a simplex you have to push in, twist a bit and then push in a bit further to tight up again.

    do they support other bluetooth headsets with low latency? i just won a used one on ebay for 200quid. they do come with the headphones and pouch though.

    • @TheDarkKnightDetectorist
      @TheDarkKnightDetectorist  ปีที่แล้ว

      only the Q30+ comes with headphones and a pouch. the standard Q30 will probably need a wireless adapter fitted into the headphone port as it doesn't cone with wireless capability but in. if you have the Q30+, you can sync your phone to it and map where you walk.
      as to where the Q30+ can pair to low latency headphones or not, I'm not sure. I think it's direct wireless for the headphones and so only Quest headphones will work on it (unless you use a wireless adapter?
      I will look into it a bit more and get back to you if I find anything out 👍
