Meowscarada was my favorite release not only because you could get it for free but because it encouraged you to play different roles and different game modes in order to earn it. I think more Pokémon releases should be like that.
My favourite release was Umbreon. It was one of my favourite mons before it joined unite, and to have all the hype of the eevee festival when it released and playing multiple all-eevee games was really nice. It felt like the community came together for that release. Pokemon Unite has been a great way to get involved in a community and make new friends for me, and that particular event was probably the most connected I've felt in unite.
My favorite release was Hoopa. I don’t believe it is today a top tier Pokémon, but at the time it was released, the game-changing potential it had was unbelievable. For me it was the first BIG dynamic switch on how the game was going back on Aeos Stadium and the fact that it came swiftly with no leaks and a supporter, on top of it all, was amazing.
@@d4rkath I mean, TODAY it isn't really the most OP supporter in the game, some others are usually more valuable, but when it was released, hoopa was definitely an S tier character, if not THE god tier character
@@YuriModesto elde is the only one who rly contests hoopa as the best support. runner ups are clef and bliss. at least in proper 5 stacks/comp. soloq is a different story. the only problem with clef and bliss is that theyre only healbots so god knows if a delphox or glace shows up theyre useless. elde provides early game punishes to stackers, healing and cc. hoopa doesnt have the same problem as other "healers" with anti heal, has a game changing unite move and has so much use like moving lanes etc. It was and still is the best support in coordinated play. It only sucks bc randos dont know how to use Hoopa/the portsls.
My favorite release of all time was Dodrio. I actually bought it for gems on the first MINUTE of its release (not even a joke I have the screenshot), and I’ve mained it ever since that day. Falinks does look like it could be another main for me too, I just love unique and high skill characters in this game.
I loved it so much because of its kit, I watched every video I could on it pre release and was lovestruck. I almost have 3k games on Dodrio now actually 😅
I think that my favorite release was Tsareena! It was a Pokémon that was a bit indifferent to me (even in the main games) but, after I started to really learn each build and seeing guides on how to perform well with it, I can say that it became my favorite Pokémon to use in Unite and one of my favorite Grass types overall, all hail the tropical queen!!
My favorite release has to be Buzzwole bc even tho it was terrible when it came out it was the first playstyle I really loved and I’ve been an on and off Buzzwole main ever since
I came here for THE REASON. I don't know what THE REASON is, but we should find out the meaning behind THE REASON. Mysterious. Drop a like My favorite release was Sableye. Yes it was busted, but i genuinely liked being able to run around unpunished and be annoying. It was broken in its own unique way that i do kind of miss, ngl
Wait! Does Mew’s solar beam cooldown reduction count for each trooper?!? Do you think the hard counters will relegate this to a last pick in competitive draft? A lot of the other high skill/very intentional Pokémon (dodrio, sword, zoroark) all seem to end up in that situation. Also, my favorite release was Tyranitar. It was massively overpowered as soon as you got ancient power, but the flavor and feel of the Pokémon was perfect, he was awful for 8 levels, then an absolute raid boss that could chase anything down and never got knocked out.
leafeon was probably my favourite release because it came at a time that i really started to get into the groove of playing speedsters and i gotta say it really turbocharged my speedster main agenda. and to this day my most played mons are all speedsters and i love how it has shaped me as a unite player (in pokemon unite)
Hey Jake! Thanks for the video. I'm really excited for Falinks! My favourite release was probably Meowscarada. I love when they do events to get the new release pokemon. I think it's a really great way to keep people engaged with the game and I was excited to log in and do those event quests!
Scizor/Scyther release was definitely my favorite since it's my favorite Pokemon, plus the concept of Scyther being able to choose whether to evolve into Scizor or stay as is is cool and I thought we'd get something similar with Gallade/Gardevoir or even the Eevees
One of my favorite releases was probably Mimikyu! It was a little weaker on release but I was so hyped about its play style and had such a fun time playing around with Shadow Sneak! I think it's in a super good place right now in unite and it had a lasting impact on me that no other release really had. Your videos experiencing Mimikyu's kit made me so excited about playing it for myself and it remains one of my favorite all-rounders for that reason!
I love the release of decidueye mainly because it is my all time favorite pokemon. Obviously having the Decidueye memorial tells you how I didn't play it to rack up easy wins but I had lots of fun using him Spirit Shackling my way downtown
My favorite release was blaziken because I thought a pokemon who could use every one of its moves like mew was cool but the way blaziken can use all of it's moves in one big combo it truly unique. I love all of your content and I can always count on you delivering the best unite videos on youtube!
Buzzwole was probably my favorite release, he wasn’t strong for a long time but getting to fighting game combo people with powerful command grabs is so funny to me
As I am fairly new to this game (played 2k battles over the last 5 months) My favorite release was meowscarada... It was weak at the time of its release but who cares we got it for free from the event...But now that they buffed that mon it is the best speedster imo!
I loved the release of Dodrio!! Although Tri Attack was the main moveset in the beginning, i have always been a Drill Peck maniac. Also, the Christmas present holowear…. THE HATS!!!
My favorite release was Blaziken, because he is one of my favorite fire type starter's and probably just overall. So when I saw his initial reveal I was excited instantly and once he was available on the PTS I grinned him. Then once he fully released no one chuld stop me I just love his kit and he's so unique with his alt just one of the best and my favorite release of all time gyardose was a close second though.
My favorite release was Gyarados. The memories I had playing the early games of pokemon on the game it and finally running into the red(shiny) gyarados really made it nostalgic for me. Man I miss those games!
1st. Woop woop. Have Falinks already. Trying to get my head around his playstyle but first day and extremely squishy at lower level but a monster after LVL 10 so far. But as I said, early days.
I actually loved when Leafeon released with the whole eevee themed event that came out too. Not only is leafeon my favorite of all the eevees but it was a speedster. (my favorite role) And I just loved that we could finally play a full team of eeveelutions!
MeowsKaiRada was my favorite release because I named my cat Kai years before it came out, and since it has become my favorite because of that! So introducing it to Unite and the flower trick playstyle has been top spot for me!
I think Laura’s was probably my favorite one I played in release. Laura’s is my favorite water type and maybe even Ice. So with that and you could have people ride with you, made me love it from the start.
The most fun I had with a new release was Blastoise. He was broken on release so you couldnt go a single game without seeing him on both teams and that sucked, but he was really fun to play: spinning around and shooting water
Gyarados was my favorite release bcz one could get both the movesets just by evolving Karp to Gyarados. It is really very powerful and has a cool unite move for securing Rayquaza and other objectives which is quite rare for an All rounder.
My favorite Pokemon release was probably Comfey, but specifically a year after when I picked up the game again. I remember seeing Comfey on release and thinking "Wow, that seems egregious to deal with" and being 100% correct when Goodra Comfey starting popping up in my matches. Then I caved and my all-rounder buddy let me support him and HO BOY, was Comfey fun. ALSO, spragals is a funny guy and I appreciate all of the small things he does with his videos, whether it's the "Inside of Pokemon Unite" to the "It's the midway point of the video and I'm either going to ask you a question relating to Unite or tell you life is going to be ok", there's just a lot to appreciate. Hope this comment made sense, have a great day.
My favorite release was definitely Gyrados! He has always been my favorite pokemon and I thought they nailed him. The power jump between Magicarp and Gyrados feels really smooth and accurate to how they portray the pokemon. They have done a great job of creatively realeasing my favorite pokemon. Also I always loved the waterfall animation in the other pokemon games, so it was interesting to see that in Unite.
My favorite release (inside of pokemon unite) was Hoopa! The ability to instantly rotate across such huge parts of the map was game changing, and opened up a whole new world of gigabrain play. The lows were low (nobody knowing how to use the portals and getting pissed when they were warped, accidentally portaling teammates away from zap/Ray, etc) but man oh man were the highs high.
Great job on describing the positive and negative aspects of this release. My favorite release was probably decidueye as I am a greninja main destroying the owl provided me lots of enjoyment. Other attacker releases were also fun except for Mewtwo Y as it was to OP to oneshot with my eamp ninja burst.
Favourite release was definitely Scizor!! Was tired of Slowbro, then they came out with the bullet punch MACHINEEE. Also, ty for the Falinks vids, I’ve actually really REALLY enjoyed using this mon 😇😇
My favorite release was all the way back at the start of unite when they added Mamoswine to the game. He was immediately my new main and I still campaign for Mamo buffs to this day!!!
My favourite release and one of few day 1 pickups was Dodrio, I love when they do something weird with a pokemon nobody really talks about, so I'm super excited for this release as well
I've only been playing unite for a little over a year now, but I think Chandelure is one of my more favorite releases. Felt like they took a lot of inspiration from its Pokken kit/playstyle and translated it to Unite perfectly (I personally still miss the louder effect for Imprison, but I understand why it was changed lol).
My favorite pokemon release in pokemon unite was Meowscarada because it was very easy to play with night slash and Traial blaze and it's still op to play😎
Leafeon was definitely my favorite release! Why you may ask, well firstly it was the first fast pokemon that really stuck with me, where I felt like I could go from farming, to ganking, to stealing farm etc. in a natural fashion. Secondly the damage output compared to survivability is delicate, and if your not careful you get ko:d, but after mastering how to engage contra disengage into battle, it's balance shows. Thank for you coming to my TEDtalk :))
I'll try it: there are a lot of releases that I enjoyed, but if I have to pick one of the most recent, it would probably be Inteleon. It was my starter Pokémon in Shield, and I loved how Unite implemented basically all the cool capabilities that are described in the Pokédex and that were not fully expressed in the mainline games. I think a lot of people underappreciate it for that exact reason: they don't know how cool it is, with all the James Bond features he has, but after all his goal is to remain undercover, so great job Inteleon!
Dude believe me or not but my favorite release was certainly Hoopa, it changed the game for me . Such a unique pokemon , with such an amazing playstyle and high skill requirement. Its a ton of fun if u have a few good friends inside of pokemon unite .
I'm going to say my favorite release would be Meows. It's one of the newer generation of pokemon and they deserve some love. However, I missed the event that gives you Meow for free and I'll have you know that I only cried for 20 minutes.
My favourite release in Pokémon Unite has to be Mew just because of how the skillcap required for it really matched up to how good it was at the time, so good players had a means of skill expression. Also I love mew.
Meowscara was a really fun release wasn't it? night slash trailblaze doesn't need to be super strong to be a ton of fun and it's just my kind of playstyle
My favorite release was Dodrio. I’m a birdwatcher, and that’s three birds in one bush that I could hit with one float stone! … but genuinely I love speedsters, it was a difficulty level that helped me uplevel my general play in the game, and also it just felt like such a random choice to include. Loved it and still do!
Meowscarada was my fave so far, ever since it came out, I've been playing her with night slash/trailblazer set and I love jumping towards the enemy like an assassin :3
I'm recently back to Unite after a little break, and I was pumped to see Gyarados in the game. Gyarados has always been one of my favorite Pokemon, and I love an underdog/glow-up! I'd love to see Butterfree inside of Pokemon Unite for the same reason! 😂
I have been looking forward to Falinks in this game for awhile. I do appreciate you pointing out the unique interactions it has between other Pokemon moves like Venusaur Giga Drain and Lucario Extreme Speed. Don't think I would've figured that out for awhile
Goodra was probably my favorite release since it's one of my favorite Pokemon. It's movesets are pretty fun and you can carry games with the right build.
Dodrio has been my favorite release because I wasn’t expecting much from it when it was announced. Now it is my main and is so much fun to play as. The meowscrada event was also pretty fun since it encouraged us to play different styles. Also I am free to play only, so always happy about not having to use coins.
My favorite release was Gyarados. Aside from Magikarp being my favorite Pokemon of all time, the concept of having an effort bar to make Magikarp evolve was so refreshing to see. Also, the power spike and Unite move were true to the lore. This made the whole gaming experience with Gyarados a wonderful throwback to the earlier main series games. Also equally important: it wasn't a polarizing release for the community, in that no one terribly hated Gyarados. Everyone knew it wasn't OP but could be powerful in the hands of a good player, and the community was generally peaceful. A win for everyone.
Damn already got faillinks… so anyway one of my favorite releases was Meowscarada for A: having a fun little event to unlock it. And B: for being the first gen 9 Pokémon
Controversial pick, one of my favorite releases to the game was Hoopa. I enjoyed playing Trick and Shadow ball Hoopa so much when it was released and now that Trick got buffed, I am once again very much so loving the build.
Meowscarada is my favorite so far, when I saw it was coming into Unite, I came back to play Unite after more than a year of leaving, I had to make a new account because my previous one got hacked.
Sableye was my favorite most release due to how by its mere presence everybody would be on their toes, anticipating jungle invades, backstabs from the sableye icon above their heads, allies improving map awareness just by pinging a score-efficient sableye player; Japan made the best use of sableye every game until it got nerfs in its base survival stats
I think Blaziken was my favorite release “in Pokemon Unite” because it was the first (and still only) pokemon to not have a typical unite move, that allows it to switch between movesets, giving you consistent power, and lots of variety! You always get to play all four moves!
I loved mrowscarada. I play Free, so having a free option was great, and I’m still in love with trailblaze. It was the Pokémon that made me the happiest for sure!!
I was a day one unite player, my favorite release at that time was Zeraora. Great build and technique, I used to play consistently until sylveon then stopped playing. I recently came back to the game, seeing the meta change so much with ex pokemon and so many mons with good moveset and new held items makes me happy that the game has good devs and has gotten consistent updates
My best release ever in Pokemon unite has to be Meowscrada, when it was released everyone was like nah it isn't that powerful but I loved it and literally had a mad win streak lol
Hoopa has been one of my favourites in the game since its release. It just fun to play and mess about with the portals. I remember Phantom Force needing a target to use made it really weird to use and thought if they just made it so you didnt need a target it would be a great move. They did that and now it is! I always find myself coming back to the game for a short stint every so often and when I do Hoopa is the guy i like to play.
Inteleon had to be my favorite release. Having to be strategic in fights with the critical hit counters and abusing liquidation honestly brought a love back to the game for me during a time when i was starting to lose it. I would always make "pew pew" sounds when using liquidation with its goated animation lol
My favorite release has to be Tsareena. I know it was a little bit broken, but it was so fluid and complex to fight with, so much fun using it. I still play Tsareena today
What a good giveaway!! my favorite release was Sableye, it was simply so fun to mess around and making five players go absolutely insane in every game. I kind of miss that, but i recognize that that was freaking unbalanced
My favourite release in Unite so far has been Chandelure due to it being one of my favourite Pokémon as well as it being released in a powerful state but wasn't overwhelmingly powerful. Chandelure also had clear counter play to it, similar to Falinks, as Pokémon with the ability to dive on Chandelure could (and still does) it a though time.
my favourite release is falinks itself as i was big fan of its design and just because how cute it is it is also my favourite pokemon as well and man the move combos are fire with this pokemon
My favorite release was Esp of the Eon, also more officially and less-intended pun known as Espeon! It was not only my favorite Eeveelution but also my favorite Pokémon overall. Despite being a bit underwhelming when released, I enjoyed very much getting her license as a reward for completing challenges from the event named after this Pokémon which was way back as May 16, 2022-that was 2 years ago now!!
I actually have two favorite releases. The first one is Blastoise, 'cause it was the very first post-launch release and the whole community was super excited. Plus, it was a defender, which were really lacking back then. Then, the launch of my favorite Pokémon Dragonite had me the most excited. Although, being one of the most popular Pokémon, I actually didn't get to play a lot with it during the first week. But once things died down, I binged tons of matches with it. Thank you cowboy!
Mmmm I think one of my favorite releases was Chandelure. One of my favorite pokémon and just the floating furniture stood out as so goofy and it turns out flamethrower is rly rly good
One of my favorite releases in unite was probably Blastoise because it was super fun playing on release and that time I saved up for him and played him when he came out.
My absolute favorite release ever has been mimikyu. I used to be a huge urshifu fan, but the assassin potential of double shadow made me have so much fun. It’s all skill based, and no click and point. I can’t wait to try out Falibls and fall in love with another all-rounder!
Meowscrada was definitely my favourite release and mainly cus of the event. There were a lot of play styles I never would’ve tried if it didn’t force me to😊
Umbreon was probably one of my favorites. I always liked them before unite and now I feel like it fits this "paladin" role very well. I play foul wish, and it's ability to heal itself or others while still having an aggressive and mobile option just feels really fun. I like being in the mix and and causing trouble while still having a little bit of support and umbreon fits perfect.
I think Trevanant was my favourite release. Came out around a nice Halloween and playing a defender that utilizes its own health as a resource was a nice change for a tank role
My favorite release has been Meowscarada, it’s my second favorite Pokémon outside of unite and I find flower trick + double team to be the most fun character in the game
My favourite release was Tsareena because it was free (if I'm remembering correctly) and because I had so much fun with triple axel back when it could actually heal a noticeable amount. I know it was a bit broken but it was just really fun being able to spam its moves and heal a decent bit at the same time; it was basically just scizor but better!
I really liked hoopa when it released, It was so fun and kinda scary to have one on the other team, it was crazy with his ult. Sadly it's hard to play solo queue
My favorite release has gotta be tsarena it was so fun to play and they just gave it to everyone for free with no event or anything. I understand why they stopped doing this but that release was so hype.
One of my favorite releases was Buzzwole because its launching introduced a leach move that was incredibly overpowered, capable of melting tanks with ease.
Spragels, you're the man!! Eldegoss was my favorite release. I love tanks and healers especially so Eldegoss was just what I was looking for. Then they buffed Cotton Spore...
sprigatito is one of my fav pokemon so seein meows get into the game and also bein very accessible via its event was so nice fer me, love meows so much
My favorite release “In Pokémon unite” was mimikyu and then getting the Halloween outfit and now with the Easter outfit it’s so cute lol. Even though mimikyu released weaker I still fell in love with the play style and design of the Pokémon. Yeehaw and I love you too Jake.
Hard for me to pick a *favorite* release, but lately I've been attached to Mew and Umbreon. Umbreon being a solid Exp Share pick, Mean Look/Wish for lockdown and keeping my team alive, etc. A good help the team choice (even if the team doesn't help back). Mew I mostly love the simple, yet versatile aspect of it. Electro Ball for KO picking, Solar Beam for ranged damage, Agility is great mobility, Light Screen is a great shove, and I got a great reaction to a friend finding out for the first time about Mew's Unite putting teammates in stealth (I'm basically the one in the group who is either a strong ally, or randomly is just cracked out of their mind).
First week Sableye, no dobubt. Its my favorite pokemon in main games, and most fun I ever have in PU. His playstyle was spot on, this little annoying goblin. He was defenetly OP on release, but not the way of Zacian/Mewtwo, I didnt feel dirty for playing him. He still was supporter: defenders and tankier all rounders still brush your damage off. But you ware unpunishable and could deal a lot of damage to squishier targer. You didnt have speedster damage, but if there was attacker on enemy team with 50% HP, you could deal with him easly. I think (except EX) he is most nerfed pokemon. Hope he one day get battlepass skin, so devs will make him better. I 100% agree with nerfs to his stealth (quickier detection, and longer going dark with shadow sneak), but his stats ware gutted to hard. I think devs should give him back some attack, and HP, and maybe buff his ratio on some moves. So if you stack on him you can deal some damage. I just want month or two, that he is A+ pick like Dagapult was when they buff him. OR here me out on this. Add new item like Liandry's Torment from LoL. Dealing ability damage debuff enemy and burn his max HP for small amout. It was amazing with DoT damage, as every tick refresh the debuff (I thik AoE and DoT have ligher effect tho). On the other hand that could buff AP carries to much, so maybe just add this effect to Faint Attack, or to phisical damage abilites.
I think my favorite release would have to be Dodrio. I love the hit and run playstyle of Tri Attack, and the whole running mechanic felt so new and fresh. I feel like these less popular and unexpected pokemon releases get so many chances to get really unique gameplay, so I can't wait for some more. Falinks, Dodrio, Greedent, and Cramorant are some stand-out ones, and I hope we get "unpopular" pokemon releases a little bit more frequently in the near future, especially after the recent run from like Umbreon to Miraidon.
My favorite release was Aegislash. Part of it is that he's once of my top 10 favorite Pokemon, but it's not just that - Scizor had always been higher on my list every since I played Crystal as a kid. The reason it was my favorite was the playstyle. It's still my main today.
My favorite release has gotta be Mew. It was the one year anniversary, and so much changed in the game. I took a break from Unite after the summer, and met my then gf now wife, so it was a pretty time-filled year. But when I heard about the event, I wanted to jump back in and grind for Mew. Plus the new stage and it was so easy to convince friends to squad up with just…oh man, it was just such a fun time to be on unite. (Runner-up’s gotta be Dragonite 💪🏾👌🏾) anyways we did it thanks Spragels
0:55 Is that true? The intetnal release date for Falinks' License is May 9th, not May 2nd, and that's also when the Holowear&License bundle get added. I'd be willing to believe that I missed an official Is announcement clearing up information, or that he was given some, but I just want to check to make sure
Bought it, Love it, Mastering it. Favorite release was Inteleon back in the day but I was a liquidation lover so my boy fell from graces. Wanted to participate in your secret, but if I win simply give to another. Love you Jake stay Classy
Dragonite was my favorite release, it was unique in that it is the only ranged allrounder which set it apart from the others. In its current state, i enjoy it even more now that both hyper beam and outrage are on a similar power level to eachother. Coming from someone that plays a lot of allrounders, Dragonite was my favorite release by far.
Of course you should buy, I trained my soldiers for this!
You bring up a good point. I’m convinced.
Ive already made the purchase no need to sell it to me!
I purchased it right away it's a must have for me
But sir, i was thinking about buying inteleon
@@eclipzse are you not faithful to the falinks religion?
Release of Greedent was absolutely hilarious. Running around with Covet and literally out speeding everything was so fun.
Even better than his running for me was his spammable ult. Being able to take down zap in like, 3 seconds with spam burp was just ridiculous
The good (bad) days when a greedent could just walk into your jungle and then leave even when being dog piled by 4 people
Meowscarada was my favorite release not only because you could get it for free but because it encouraged you to play different roles and different game modes in order to earn it. I think more Pokémon releases should be like that.
I agree the only thing I didn't like about meowscarada was how time locked the missions where. Except for that yeah it was cool
I got mine in the same way. It was fun
My favourite release was Umbreon. To change who I used to be
A reason to start over new

Also, the Christmas present holowear…. THE HATS!!!
My favorite release was Blaziken, because he is one of my favorite fire type starter's and probably just overall. So when I saw his initial reveal I was excited instantly and once he was available on the PTS I grinned him. Then once he fully released no one chuld stop me I just love his kit and he's so unique with his alt just one of the best and my favorite release of all time gyardose was a close second though.
Just came from Twitch Stream! Falinks is AWESOME! Definitely buy
Nice bro
Meow is the best grass starter we've had in years. Cat goat
I think Laura’s was probably my favorite one I played in release. Laura’s is my favorite water type and maybe even Ice. So with that and you could have people ride with you, made me love it from the start.
Mimikyu being released was all I wanted, being my favourite Pokemon and being announced on my birthday, and launch day was a wonderful time. 🧡
I think this release is one if the best in the entire game, it is really a fun pokemon and I think its playstyle can be really rewarding.
I loved the dodrio release. Drill peck + jump kick was my go to moveset from the start. It's been my main mon for more than a year now.
Two releases I really liked were Azumarril and Aegislash, I really like them both, and since, they are in the top of my roster (after gardevoir)
My favorite release was the mew one. I got the Pokemon for free and it was just very fun to play and it was super strong
My favorite release was Pokémon Unite itself! Been loving the way this game makes us understand how Pokémon would REALLY fight! :]
100℅ agree, great dmg, good variaty of playstyle also has a big counterplay. This is what i love release
For me the duralodon release was such a crazy era for unite lol the fight to see who can burn zapdos the fastest was always super fun
My favorite release has been Meowscarada, it’s my second favorite Pokémon outside of unite and I find flower trick + double team to be the most fun character in the game
I really enjoyed sableye on release! He was so disruptive and the chaos that he caused was incredible!
I really liked hoopa when it released,
It was so fun and kinda scary to have one on the other team, it was crazy with his ult.
My favorite release was definitely intelion the amount of burst damage it had made it a fun release
Spragels, you're the man!! Eldegoss was my favorite release. I love tanks and healers especially so Eldegoss was just what I was looking for. Then they buffed Cotton Spore...
My favorite release was tsareena, it was a golden time in the winters.. crushing everyone with triple axel
sprigatito is one of my fav pokemon so seein meows get into the game and also bein very accessible via its event was so nice fer me, love meows so much
My favorite release “In Pokémon unite” was mimikyu and then getting the Halloween outfit and now with the Easter outfit it’s so cute lol.
My favorite release was Zoroark, because it was the first instance of gatekeeping by the nobles and it got so much hate by the community
