Christina, Thats a good question. I don't fly anymore and not sure what the USAF does with meals on flights these days. They use to just box up food from the base chow hall and load out the number needed (small white box). Usually it was food that would not spoil. Like fried chicken, baked beans, bread roll, cole slaw (no Mayo) and a apple or orange. All fresh and good. That got me to thinking, that you live in Texas, and maybe you could get a invite to the base chow hall in Lackland AFB. Just write the base CO and ask if you could visit as a guess Chef and give some pointers to the AF Chefs on cooking. With the MC title I think they would love to see you and the dependents could also come in. Best, Gene MD

Years ago I took a TWA flight from Gatwick, UK. A flight attendant came around after we were airborne, asking if we wanted some courtesy TWA coffee? The British guy next to me asked if he could have the special TWA tea. Everyone within earshot cracked up. The flight attendant never got it or pretended not to.
I bought that same exact box last week on a United flight! I was definitely hungry at the time and it was good enough. I dipped everything into the honey mustard and gouda haha
I wonder how she's like "sees" everything.. I have never seen a blind person like her. she looks so normal and like sees everything in front of her. any explanation for her condition?

oh man that sucks, I'd be pissed, dried wine stinks. I had a (~1 yr old?) baby vomit next to me as we landed once (fortunately not on me). Her mom bottle fed her the entire 3 hr flight (baby stomachs aren't that big!).

Christine if you ever do a blind taste to things you are given by fans please make sure your husband won't troll you and make you eat choclate covered beetles or something because I have seen enough post traumatic food posts from ashens and mikej to know things can get pretty knarly.

Hello Christine! Yeah, you're right, those United Airlines boxes are super basic, but they'll do in a pinch.
those snack boxes aren't bad at all. I got the Tapas box.
it's not a snack per se, but it's the seafood cup noodles at cathay pacific. and biscoff cookies from alaskan airlines
