Good stuff. You shoud really consider jumping off of one on that step thru. Leaving a half step in the bag,

I feel like in the boys game that’s called a travel… in girls basketball it’s not. A huge inconsistency in officiating IMO

@@MattHackenberg That sucks. It's a pretty simple concept that refs should know at the lowest levels.

@@danielpaz671 Do you believe this footwork is called differently in the boys and girls games?

@@MattHackenberg I coach in Germany and they get it right for the most part. I make it a point that our kids do 'Rondo' finishes (your wave offense, hockey finish but we stride stop, top pivot to fade away, then steo thru) during warmups so the refs see it but like I said most of them get it right here. If you watch the u17 wc this year you'll notice the American team getting rung up on first step travels. I feel the kids and the refs just get it here more than when I coached in the states. That being said, it wouldn't surprise me if they called the games differently.

@@danielpaz671 I know Americans have issues adjusting to the officiating of international play… It’s crazy in the states, the step you describe is legal per the rule book for both boys and girls, but it’s called a travel in the boys game and not called a travel in the girls game. It’s wild

I mostly train two feet drills! Playing on two feet is very under taught!
