@Seshraj 00000 it is a survival game... where, they have to eliminate the killer or killers (in this case, mafia) inorder for the citizen to win. the role of the doctor is to save someone from the killer. in this case, sana, is a doctor but chose to save herself instead of someone. she is lucky that she save herself when the killers chose to kill her, so the killers failed.
*MECHANICS*
*TURN OF EVENTS*
first, killer first takes the kill
second, the doctor decides who to save
third, the big reveal (the victim dies or was saved)
last, the citizen will find/investigate/deliberate who is the killer.
*RULES*
1. the citizen must eliminate the killer (via vote)
2. the killer and doctor is also a citizen and is given the right to vote.
3. never reveal your identity.
and that's pretty much it. hope I explained it clearly.

The moment that Momo said "I'm the doctor" and Jeongyeon and Nayeon said "oh, so you saved yourself". It was so obvious that they are the mafia because how would they have know if they were'nt the ones killing her.

This is a very suspicious conversation that no one noticed.
What MOMO knows: She saved herself so she knows mafias tried to kill her.
what mafias know: they tried to kill momo but a doctor saved her (This case, Momo may or may not be a doctor)
what everyone else knows: mafias tried to kill someone but a doctor saved her. (But not necessarily doctor saved herself)
A question like "Are you a doctor, momo?" is more natural than "Is momo a doctor?"
because Jihyo didn't say the doctor saved herself. She DID say that no one died.
Also, based on that question, JY quickly came up to the conclusion that MOMO saved herself.
This means that at this point, someone should have realized that JY is a mafia for sure.
Well yeah you're technically right, but strategically it's safe to assume that the doctor ALWAYS saves themself. It's not an uncommon follow up question when be asked if you're the doctor, so it's still quite ambiguous.
