Wipeout 3 please (Not the game based on the show, the PS1 racing game). If you haven't played any of the Wipeout titles, you're seriously missing out on something special. It's the PlayStation equivalent to Nintendo's F-Zero. (I know I've posted like 3 comments asking this already, but I won't stop :P)
penta has a really odd voice clip besides the dying squeels of a raptor... it's hard to explain it, but it sounds like a japanese voice and it's just completely random.
Yeh in 3-4player multiplayer not only the character models get worse but some tracks look more basic, like the the blimps aren't in the sky raceway anymore. Still look more interesting than most Mario kart 64 tracks though
In Mario Kart Double Dash a similar thing happened if you're playing with 2 or more people. In most race courses, they remove certain environmental hazards or a detail in the background. Ex: Bowser's Castle a few of the Thwomps remove there's no fireballs spitting out of the lava; in Rainbow Road, you don't see the city under the racetrack.
...What is it that Crash wants???(If you get it you see the same channel that i do) So i got a question there is going to be a Crash Team Racing adventure mode playthrough of SGB or not???
I have two recommendations for Smackdown Sundays: The Simpsons Road Rage and Streets of Rage 2 battle mode. I think you could have a lot of fun with those. I know I did.
Maybe for a future Smackdown Sunday (after the Score Attacks), you could do Mortal Kombat: Armageddon or Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe to show me exactly what is wrong with these games. As for games you will enjoy, I would like to see more Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 and Marvel vs. Capcom 2. Finally, as a personal recommendation, I would like to see you tackle either Dragon Ball Z: Budokai or Naruto: Ultimate Ninja.
You know what sucks for me in this game? I can't even complete the story mode of this game because for some weird reason, my PS1 does nothing when Ripper Roo is on screen. I guess this game often CRASHES on my PS1. HA HA HA!

So thats why the ice, draw distance, and lots of background items needed to be sacrificed. Battle is not as much fun, normal races are! But it pains me to see all those shortcuts you guys missed :/
All of his stats are at max level so he has the highest speed, acceleration and turning stats, making him broken. He is basically the Mewtwo of the game, once you use him you already won, unless you are terrible at the game.

in the NTSC version, Penta's stats are the same as Polar and Pura, he also has placeholder quotes suggesting he was unfinished. in the PAL version, the quotes were fixed, and he has maxed out stats in acceleration, speed, and handling; like N. Oxide. That is why Penta is broken in the PAL version

I've played a number of 3 and 4 player races. I think that in a draw situation whoever got the most points in the last race wins. Hence Matt won.
