Finally watching your Alaska videos, my husband and I did this cruise September 2019, nice trip. Don't worry about the FORMAL night. we are not formal either. Husband wore a polo shirt and I had a short sleeve jacket. Who wants to pack dress clothes and shoes on vacation, luggage is already limited. You do you and don't worry about anyone else. As long as you clean and dressed that is all that matters :). You will never see those people again.

We took an Alaskan cruise about a month ago and we lucked out with the weather. Sunny every day except the last. Apparently that is very rare. But I empathize with your feelings traveling up to Alaska.

Praying it is not rocking too much when we go in Sept. I am not good with rocking too much for long periods. Some rocking is fine for a few hours. I'm hoping that it's mild because of the inner passages and multiple stops.
Yeah, in the summer the sun sets later the more north you go. General rule of thumb: if you're in an area where people can see the Northern Lights at the appropriate times, just assume sunset is going to be late in the summer.

Think you have the evening lumberjack look going on ! You probably won’t see bears unless you’re inland, they’ll be at the rivers waiting for salmon swimming upstream. Have fun!

I’m so confused. Being that you’re in a restaurant themed around that particular movie where are the pecan pralines? Where is the bread pudding? Where is the bananas foster? Where was the gumbo? Never mind don’t put gumbo on that menu because I haven’t found any cruise ship that does a true Louisiana gumbo. Being from Louisiana I’m a little spoiled with some of that food, LOL.
Great video! If you want to see some more beauty do a cruise to Norway. I did one in 2017 and it was amazing. Hoping to do Alaska next year, but of course hopefully on Disney.
@@ThemeParkExpress we had to do Holland America at the time because it had the itinerary we wanted. Ship was ok, but we would have preferred one of the Disney ships, but they went to all the Scandinavian countries and we only wanted to do Norway. Looking forward to Alaska 😊
The Mickey waffle! I had been hearing for months how amazing these waffles are. Got on the Dream in May and it was good, but nothing special. Just a waffle shaped like Mickey. 🤷🏽♀️ it was a little disappointing. I'll have to check it out at the parks!

you adjusted your frame rate to get rid of the lines.. so your normal is 60 and you drop to 24 to get rid of the lines? Do you film in 1080 or 4k? I was considering 4k60 but im worried on my trip i'll need 10 SD cards :) im bring a Sony ZV-1 to family vlog. btw enjoyed Day 3!

My favorite down time is the French Quarter and Tiana's Place is my favorite restaurant on the Wonder.

It is beautiful in Alaska, especially when you live in Florida.
You need to tell us the dates of your cruise. This makes it easier to figure clothing packing. I am going in September 2022.
Alaska has that weird thing where when it’s winter it’s kinda dark and cloudy throughout the day and it’s the summers there it doesn’t get dark
They like weeks of darkness

I really want to try Royal Caribbean in the near future! I’ve heard mixed reviews and wanna try it for myself. The ships look very pretty!
