  • Ever wondered how card makers get that cool look of one image behind another?
That’s the magic of masking! We will be using the Snowy Wonder stamp set, the Yuletide Village stamp set and the Translucent Florals stamp set.
It’s a super simple technique that makes your stamps look like they’re layered without having to add any extra bulk. Not only does it give your cards more depth, but it also keeps everything smooth and sleek. It’s seriously one of the most fun ways to get creative with your stamps. Once you try it, you’ll be hooked on how easy it is to totally transform your designs!

I’ve done masking for years, but I love the tip of cutting several layers of post it notes at one time. Love that tip. Thanks for sharing cute cards.

Hey Tim, I wanted you to know not to feel bad about Karen doing things fast! I’m like you, slower than my spouse, my husband Mike! He runs rings around me! If it take me 30 minutes to do something he’ll finish in 10 minutes! We’ve been married 47 years this coming New Years Eve, December 31, 2024! I knew he was fast but he learned it when we went to a Dennis Rainey marriage conference! Thank God, cause he is patient with me! He wonderful, just like you Tim! Karen we are very blessed just like they are! Love 💕 you guys, Karen and Tim! Thanks for reminding us of these old techniques Karen!

Karen, you are the queen of fussy cut. I love the finished product but I just can't get the hang of moving the scissors and not the paper. Will keep trying. tfs
