Pentatonix LOVE pop music- all five of them. This is often why, even though I LOVE Avi, I feel Matt is such a great fit! Avi helped them choose him and I’m pretty sure he was looking for Matt’s energy. I consider Matt more of a contemporary and rhythmic bass(low baritone really) and doesn’t have the huge operatic bass that Avi has. He’s definitely found his groove in the group. Ever notice that he ALWAYS has a smile on his face... allll the time!
PTX wanted to be the ones to bring a capella to mainstream and they’ve done it. Both of their original albums have some great, radio worthy tracks but they don’t get airtime for some reason. Go figure- a group with three Grammy’s, eight albums or so (I think), close to out over one BILLION views on their TH-cam channel (Hallelujah has 550M), performances at Tim’s of award ceremonies, and they are touring maniacs.
Hello Laurie. I am with you. This group deserves and is worthy of all the positive press time because of the mark they have made and continue to make on the music industry. And if you did not know that they are not the original 5, you would definitely think that they are because they compliment each other so seamlessly.
Matt's smile is crazy. In one of the evolution videos I swear he smiles huge the whole time and omg he's so dreamy when he smiles like that 😍
In our increasingly hectic loud world, I find your calm, inciteful and thoughtful reactions to PTX ... well ... so personal and soothing. I do look forward to seeing new reactions from you both so please do keep up the wonderfully friendly and inviting reactions. We need more voices like yours vs all the shouting and theatrics ...
