I use to play smite a lot. Not as much anymore. I watched weaken and incon and adapting and all of them. But something about Mast, the way he explains his tactics, he speaks his thoughts out loud for the rest of us so we can be with him in the game for his decision making, he doesn’t make excuses when he gets fragged, doesn’t blame teammates. Always laughing. Like I said I don’t even play smite anymore. But I still watch Mast every single day.
yeah even when he gets a little salty, he's more like "haha i'm so tilted". it's just Fun. Mast doesn't make the impression that this is something serious. It's a Game and it's supposed to be fun for us to watch.
Just a side note, you probably want to max the 2 second. The pen and ms tends to be better than the damage increases for the 3. That being said, there is also situations where you'd max your 3 second. For this game I would have maxed the 2 second
@@MastYT I understand it, but if you get jotunns/crusher , boots and hydra's you can 2 auto 1 auto and you will be able to one shot any squishy till mid to late game. For me I prefer to use the 3 as a silence, and not really for the damage, but it has been a while since I put games on thanatos. I hit 2.9k worshippers on him, and now I hardly touch him

At 5:51 You mention your blink not being activated immediately even tho you're not aiming at the wall and oh boy do i have the same problem but it happens on a lot of time on all my abillities and idk how to fix it,I reinstalled the game but it didn't help
Why on earth does Mast say Susano is not good late game? He's one of the best late game assassins in Smite, especially in teamfights. He has 110% scaling on his 1, plus the auto-cancels, strong cc in his 2, more damage and mobility in his 3, and an insane teamfighting ultimate that is a massive knockup with tons of damage. And if that wasn't enough, he has 60% free scaling from his passive.
@@MastYT But as Susano you're never actually playing in someone's face. You have a dash, a teleport, a pull and a knockup. I find that if you use those correctly, an ADC or mage won't have a lot of time or opportunity to do anything.
@@pepeesq.7966 1v1 he's fine late game but late game is team fight stage and the only part of Susano that isn't hot trash in teamfights is his ultimate. Not only are you trying to solo a squishy before they solo you back but you also have to do it with their team right next to them. If they actually play it right they'll just use their actives to survive your burst damage and then turn on you and kill you.
Not sure if it would’ve changed some of the times where they got out, but popping scent of death right before you ult might gotten a couple of kills from that 15 pen on the scythe landing at low levels Idk it’s a habit I have, not sure if it’s optimal or nah
shield of regrowth with 2 maxed allows you to make better of use thanatos early game / snowball which is his real only use as a jungler. the 3 doing potato damage doesn’t matter because autos will hit like crazy and you’ll stick to them with the speed / extra health no problem. I think ur build is really awkward here and if you do math with 2 being maxed as opposed to 3 imagine the dmg you’ll do around like 11-12 when people barely have protections up. love ur content - keep it up
Not like thanatos is exactly complex, but it's way better to go either hybrid, bruiser, or even tank with him With a damage build, you may be able to quickly burst one god down, but after your kit is down, you become a pretty squishy target
that’s why you gotta get a kill with him and make sure to hit your 1, then you get health and cool downs and can hit your 1 again kill another god get more cool downs and health and so on, the amount of triple and quadra kills i get end game with a max physical damage build thanatos is higher then you’d think. If you miss your 1 your fucked though.

nah it actually goes in the order of % protection reduction (like exe), flat protection reduction (void shield), % penetration (titans bane), flat penetration

Your explanation about pen doesn't sound right. Flat pen is substracted first and then %pen. So if he has 150prots then you first reduce it by 40 flat pen: 110 and then this is reduced by 30%. So his prots will be around 77. Instead of 70.
Ughu because she bring insane cc so you don't need to build damage to get the benefit, she's also really a lot easier to play in solo. Since you don't have to worry about the rotations. If you're not used to playing her as much take her solo

I feel like things could have been better for you with Aegis instead of Blink. Since you're using ult to engage so much, Blink really didn't have much utility after the early game other than a cheeky re-engage (in last fight, you probably would have gotten execute anyways). Aegis could have possibly saved you in a few places during kit dumps where you got deleted, and buys time for 1 and 3 to come off of CD and turn/burn.

The list of things that this guy thinks he can't use his beads for is ridiculous. The only crowd control that you can't beads out of is when you're in the air after getting hit by a kunbakarna ult... Depending on how high you are or whether or not you're going up or down will do some weird stuff if you use beads. I don't think you can overlap penetration with your 2, i think it just hits the flat 50 cap.
Correct. Jotunn's and Crusher alone with 2 max out flat pen. You can technically get 20 more from void shield though.

because while susano is trying to pull off his combo an adc can hold left click or a mage can use 2 abilities and delete him.

Mast generally speaking, it takes 2-3 days of being ill to show symptoms, so I doubt you and your trash time made you ill.
