I remember this mission. I was killed quickly twice before I realized what I was up against. Myself I did clear the island at night so I wouldn’t be easily spotted and I made full use of my thermal vision and my AI Team. I even sniped the Seekers from a boat offshore.
Great video Custer. This mission was crazy for me. I got on the island and saw nothing. Went around trying to be stealthy and disabled the turrets but kept getting spotted. It took me a lil while to figure out it was Seekers. I found a spot in the top floor of one of the buildings and went loud so they came to me.
I have played Motherlands and this base 4 times now. Last week I took the A.I. team and turned them loose. Evidently they can see them just fine as they cleaned house in short order. I have done it solo and stealth, takes me 45 minutes. I have also stolen a boat and sniped them from the boat. Tried it lots of ways. Nothing was more fun than the A.I. team and the MK48 LMG. Grin!! I could not see half of what was going on, heard lots of grenades and soon it was base cleared. Cheers Kit
The crazy thing is this technology does exist. The military has been testing a fabric that can bend the light around you. I love this game so much I just wish the map was more like wildlands with more diverse environments. I loved the desert environment in wildlands and wish Auroa had a desert region.... I would love for ubisoft to develope a new ghost recon game keeping the breakpoint mechanics of nomad and keeping the weapon and gear mechanics and camo but make it a whole new map. I would love to see a ghost recon map with desert towns and cities along with huge pine tree woods and it 100% would have to have a jungle/swamp section which I find is one of the best environments in breakpoint and wildlands. When your flying a chopper over the swamp lands in wildlands it's so immersive it's like your back in vietnam flying just over the treeline... the closest thing we have to a desert in breakpoint is the open dead grass field counties... I have the usmc marpat desert camo along with other desert camos that I can't really use in this game due to no desert environments.
The island of cloaked soldiers was insane I had to move very slowly using my thermals and taking them out 1 by 1 it was intense and insane and for me the next experience i had in this new DLC
Those of you who play this game with the same type of settings... mad props! I like to play similar but I still need my mini map and markers. I lack discipline and patience haha. Still working on the original campaign but cant wait to get into motherland!
I used to play airsoft back in high school. Super fun stuff. I still watch match videos from time to time, but I don't know anything about current gear trends. You should consider posting a video of your setup when the shop finishes performing the upgrades.
I beat the whole game and all the DLCs and now the only thing I'm doing is leveling up my specials classes and inorder to do that I turned off my AI teammates and have been playing alone not even using the sync shot drones. It's so good playing solo without any backup it makes you take caution and use more of a stealthy tactical approach to any compound. Sometimes I like taking out huge compounds with using only my sidearm silenced and CQC. Now that's a good challenge to do

Custer, do you know why your sights are red and not orange? I think it's got to do with screen calibration and stuff, but I'm still not sure. Red sights look much better than the boring orange we have since Wildlands.

This is in my top 3 favorite missions so far. I did manage stealth with mild alerts as well, but dang was it tense!

Omg I hated this mission cause when I got on the island I thought I was just the turrets but then I died within seconds. But great video loved it 👍

FAL is one my mains. I love the silenced sound of that gun. I wish you could put longer range scopes on the 7.62 ARs though.

I found using the scout vision helped finding the seekers just a bit tho so if that helps anyone that’s good

There's no way to turn off the Illuminators
