This was incredible, please highlight more subcultures like this in Pakistan.
Karachi is like a mystery i was born here still after 29 years i can't say i know every street every neighborhood. Its night life is amazing. Beaches, parties, music, culture, history, religious diversity and food🔥🔥
Super proud of everyone involved, who are selflessly expanding the scene. And looking forward to working with the emerging artists as a result of this - power to you all!
That moment at the end, around 13:20, when the track drops and everyone is going wild and singing to the song...yeah, that is it right there. That is the moment.
Thanks for this wonderful mini docu. Excellent and well done.
Interestingly that was of course the classic Original Nuttah featuring UK Apache aka Abdul Wahab, who is a British Muslim with Pakistani ancestry…so everything comes full circle
Hi, Salam alaikum from India, I’ve always been interested in knowing some good techno, house artists from Pakistan, would be lovely if some of you could suggest some artists. Also sub cultures, underground scenes always survive, like young plants that just grow through the cracks in cements of a building. It’s lovely to see this documentary ❤
That is an interesting metaphor. There is a famous south american poem regarding a plant that grew from cracks in concrete.
Tupac Shakur had a poem that was literally called "The Rose That Grew From Concrete."
As for specific artists from Pakistan, my bad. I can't really help with that yet search engines probably can. I know of a rapper from Mozambique who was kinda awesome. That seems slightly unrelated though lol.
Azagaia was the rapper from Mozambique that I referenced btw. Probably because I think his name can (maybe?) be translated (in some ancient forms) as: "of the Earth".
The literal translation in Portuguese is apparently "javelin".
Please keep the spirit alive
What you guys are doing to the electronic scene is Karachi is amazing. This took a long time and lots of energy to get recognised and it’s time the world knows what Karachi has to offer in terms of diversity of electronic music which this city can offer.
Awesome.
Shahbano I'm really impressed by the way you have really shown the side of karachi which none has seen. All had thought of us a backward city but yet this all shows some glimpse that are relevant to western modernization. It feels good to represent Karachi nightlife out of Pakistan.
Skol!!!!
Rave enthusiast here, never knew this community in karachi existed. Would definetly pay a visit once im there again.
Amazing video. Great to see this strata of culture highlighted in Pakistan.
Wow never knew Karachi was like this. I'm definitely going to have to visit.
Excellent 👌🏻
Good stuff! Hope this brings more exposure. Keep throwing more events!
Bravo!!!!!!!!!This is hard work but so beneficial for artists and young people seeking self expression and fullfilment.
Well done .. keep it going.
Excellent ☝🏽👑
Man how FKNG GOOD! Was it to see Pakistan massive getting loose to Jungle.. Boyahh! So good! .. And yeah, that moment at around 13.20 when the drop kicks in, that is everything! So much love.. Bless Up!
Amazing to see the Music transcends boundaries ..
am happy to see the music scene begining to grow slowly but surely there ..
would love to experience it one day
I’m from Sweden but my parents are Bengali man shoutout my Pakistani brothas bro

So good
Loved this ❤❤❤.... I am born raised bought up in Karachi, never knew that this crazy shit does exist. I am definitely attending next time when ever I will be in Pakistan....

Soooo Dope
Well done, don't stop 🙏🏽
last track id?? great video, wish the best for Karachi and its scene! RA, please make more videos on the worldwide scene
It's Shy FX - Original Nuttah.. An absolute CLASSIC from the Mid 90s UK Jungle era that still smashes dancefloors..
If you want another FIRE tune, listen to
Remarc - "RIP.". Absolute fire from 95.. Enjoy!
Great to know, we should support these subcultures to be on the world map because we have so much talent. People who tie it with Islam and judge this should understand they are responsible for themselves and not the whole society. You are not responsible fof Pakistan same as if you go abroad you see these things and you ignore it.
Salam from America // this is amazing!
Thank you for making this
I remember the first ever rave in Karachi. It was the start of the movement
Keep up the good work! Sending love from Los Angeles.
Excellent stuff! Looking forward to seeing more and more
Loved watching this!
Great stuff. But you guys missed out on A.C.E the most consistent underground club night in Karachi over the last 6 months :)
This was incredible to watch, you guys are doing amazing work! Really hope you can continue to keep pushing those boundaries!
Whats the point of Amazing 😅😅😅 can u please elaborate???
Incredible
Ah man I'm late for work now that was dope
Amazing ❤❤❤
Nice one.
Great to see movement in Pakistan. I personally go to Karachi and Lahore often, so it’s great to see that there are some hidden events happening to cultivate this culture.
Where is it?? Where do you organize these types of parties?
🔥🔥🔥🔥
Punk-like ethos - top work guys, keep it real! ♥🕊🌍👌🙏
crazyyyyyy
Amazing stuff! This could’ve been hours long. Big up to the Pakistani crew!
Love the passion, don’t you dare stop ❤
so cool to see
i cant find the khatarnak song at the end can someone please help.
So interesting
From 1947 to 1977 Karachi was called the City of Lights. At that time Pakistan was a liberal, progressive and very peaceful country. The Tourists from all over the world were visiting Karachi at that period.
liberalism lol. Quran clearly indicates those who want Fahashi spread among the Muslims will face severe punishment. You should repent.
Dude stop utilizing quoura jargain over these new cash bstrds
Yes from modern Pakistan we have been turning into Mullahcracy & unrealistic Islam, Major credit goes to ZAI as a pioneer for ruining the nation for his gain & now unfortunately it kept going
Then real islam happened.
Hey wie geht's euch nice video
Keep going strong guys.
What is the song plans during the credits
Karachiii
Keep up the good work and good tunes!
Electronic music is political, even if it's tough to deal with oppressive governments.
Underground Resistance taught us this!
Amazing!!!
"Apart from Chai and eating food...there is nothing".
I think that is the idea. The local Mosque is supposed to be the main cultural centerpiece for society?
Now obviously, there is nothing wrong with that. Yet people often want more options in life than work, pray, eat, sleep, repeat.
I can't find the last song anywhere

Keep it loud.

Techno is an acquired taste. I find it bizarre and boring. But to each his own. Nothing wrong with chai and food at 2am either. That's what the masses want.
Just seems like you guys are are rich, well traveled and want karachi to become NYC. Why the need for global acceptance? Be comfortable in your own skin.

Dance goes hand in hand with liquor and drugs. Without that you can't get a real kick out of dance. So if you are promoting of dance culture you have to accept the drug culture cocaine methamphetamine hallucination drugs alcohol because they all go hand-in-hand together and last thing rape.

R they crying for bullshit
It's quite sad how actual rock musicians from back in the day like this Danial Punjwani guy are into electronic crap. Their young selves would kick them in the ass for becoming sell outs.
Nothing about selling out, there's little to no money in what they do and gigs are so few and far between with no commercial sponsorships etc. So it's not selling out at all.
@@chef.ramesses that's the exact definition of being a sellout. Giving up who you are to make a quick buck.
